It is a good and well maintained college.

Placements: About 25% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered in our course is 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered in our course is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Bosch, etc. The top roles offered are design analyst, electrical supervisor, and business analyst.

Infrastructure: The facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are very good. The libraries are well maintained and neatly stored. The qualities of the facilities in our hostel are a little bad. The food quality in mess and canteen was good in our college. There is a wide range of sports events held on campus.

Faculty: The teachers in our college are very helpful, knowledgeable, and well qualified. The course curriculum is relevent. This curriculum will prepare the students to get placed in the industry. The quality of teaching is also very good. The semester exams are a little tough. The pass percentage is 45%.

Good placements and faculty members.

Placements: Almost 80 % of students got placed in some reputed companies now. Some are trying for the UPSC exams. Also some are doing higher studies. Average salary offered:3.5 l per annual We have done internships in suzlon company and students are working in the same company too till now.

Infrastructure: Of course our college provided a good infrastructure in and around the campus for the students, ensuring peaceful and colorful environment. All the facilities like labs, classrooms, library are available at any time. We have more extracurricular activities for molding in all the streams.

Faculty: Our teachers are the pillars for our growth. Well trained and knowledge faculty members to facilitate the needs. We have our own freedom to learn things other than syllabus to be trained on updated technology. We have a separate placement guiders to help on getting trained on all the sectors of updated trend.

Other: Every year once we have intercollege level symposium where students have the chance to exhibit their skills and Develop leadership roles.

Life of Student to Engineer.

Placements: 1. 98% of the students were placed. 2. 7.2Lpa, 3.6Lpa, 1.2Lpa was the highest, average and lowest salary offered. 3. Tech Mahindra, Accenture, CTS, TCS and Tessolve semiconductors, New India Electrical. 4. Engineering skills, Project Management & Entrepreneurship were the roles offered. 6. In my department, out of 68 students, 20 people went for internship training at government sectors and also private sectors. For example TANGEDCO, Mettur thermal power station, Popular systems etc.

Infrastructure: 1. We have Wi-Fi enabled campus, computerized labs, classrooms with smart class projector options and a digital library. 2. You can enjoy homely food in the hostel canteen, Wi-Fi enabled Hostel campus, varieties of food in canteen, ambulance available, not much outdoor games and very much sophisticated indoor games are available.

Faculty: 1. In this universe, all teachers are helpful in some aspects it depends on our interactions, They are well qualified and good knowledgeable, even they are using smart classes and projector bases classes for making the students to understand in better way. 2. Yes very much. Once you finish the course, it will show you the number of ways/options, you have to decide in what suits you, or in other words you can choose your field based on your strength.

Other: 1. First of all, I don't know what's engineering and I don't know what's EEE, but going through tough phases, I understood the course later and learned on my own interest and it showed me multiple options suitable to my career and lot of Hands-ON experience training, conferences, workshops etc., 2. Practical explanation needed, Like ITI, Diploma people have good practical knowledge, but sadly no engineers has got the same, but we need to add this on our degree course. 3. You can enjoy the surroundings and campus which will make you pleasant. Need to improve on extracurricular activities.

Placements: Placements in our college are very important. The faculty members have better methods to teach the students to get the best out of the placement process. Students get good and new ideas through various projects.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good with several blocks for six departments which gives students a better experience. There are several playgrounds to play, and indoor games facilities are also available. It consists of various halls where functions are organised.

It is a place where students grow.

Placements: Approximately 90% of the students are placed in reputed companies like Robert Bosch, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra and Cognizant with a package of Rs. 30,000 to 40,000 per month. A faculty and a student are appointed to look after the placement purposes.

Infrastructure: All the classrooms are Wi-Fi and ICT enabled. Free Jio Wi-Fi (with a limit of 1.5 GB per day) is available for students. Food facility is awesome. The college surrounding has a good environment. Students are well-trained in sports. Hostel facilities are provided for boys and girls separately.

Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful and help the students to learn practically. There is a research lab under a professor (who has a doctorate) to solve the problems and also accompanies the students.

Other: The college fest called Kalinga is conducted by the college every year. It is co-ordinated by the students.

Placements: The placement rate of our college is good. Students are trained on how to face the interview and other tests. The faculty members also teach students dressing sense and body language. Aptitude test and group discussions are conducted to select the students. Students are also trained on aptitude every semester.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The buildings are spacious. Facilities like a playground, coffee day, gym, etc., are available in the college. The campus is enabled with free Wi-Fi. ICT power classrooms are available.

Placements in 2015 were good. The infrastructure and facilities are really good.

Placements: Placement opportunities offered by the college are very useful for many students to achieve their goals and to help them get a chance to succeed in their future. The placement process consists of aptitude test followed by GD and HR interview. Students need to possess more than 8 CGPA to be eligible for placements. Otherwise, students are not allowed to participate in campus placement drives.

Infrastructure: The college provides facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, a library, medical facilities, sports and games, etc. Dishes like idli, puri, and chapati, parata, and curd rice, etc., are available in the canteen. I am not facing any issues regarding the infrastructure of the college.

Faculty: Teachers in the college are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is good. The college also conducts plant visits to help students gain industry exposure. They use different methods like PPTs to teach us. The student to faculty ratio is very good. They teach us all the lessons which are in the syllabus.

Other: Many events are conducted at SNS College of Engineering. Scholarships are also offered for many students. Extracurricular activities are also conducted here.

Review of SNS College of Engineering.

Placements: The placement rate is almost 100% for the past four years. In the year 2019, there were nearly 85 placement offers for 34 students, with the highest salary package of 5 LPA. All students got placed in core companies. Every semester, during vacation, plant training is conducted for all students in the local industries. A good number of paid internships are offered.

Infrastructure: Laboratories are well-equipped with all necessary equipment. AICTE sponsored research lab that provides us with a wonderful opportunity to conduct experiments, and mini or main project works in power quality-related issues. TI sponsored laboratory helps us to design embedded based solutions for our ideas.

Faculty: Anna University prescribes the course curriculum. In addition to this, faculty members organise value-added courses and certificate courses. PLC and SCADA, embedded systems, algorithm development, are certain examples. In the second and third year, mini projects are mandatory, which help students to have hands-on experience.

Other: Kalinga is the national level technical symposia conducted in the college. All-round performer award (ARP) scholarship to the students who prove their talents in their academic, curricular, extracurricular and social events.
