SKCT admissions are made based on TANCET score including other accepted exams. Students seeking admission must register and appear for TANCET counselling process. As per the available schedule, the TANCET Counselling registration process will be closed on July 4, 2024. However, it is subject to changes at the discretion of the concerned authorities.

SKCT ME/MTECH programme is aimed at developing successful engineers with relevant theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Under this programme, students can choose from different specialisations including Applied Electronics, Structural design, Computer Science, Engineering Design, and Power Systems Engineering.

The official website of the institute states that the institute provides proper training and maintains good relations with many renowned organisations to provide candidates with good placement opportunities. Moreover, as per the ME/MTECH placement statistics 2023-24, the the highest and average packages offered to M.Tech students stood at INR 11 LPA and INR 4 LPA respectively.

If students are willing to go for off-campus placements then they can expect to start with a salary range of INR 6 to INR 7 LPA. However, every student may not start with the same pay scale. The salary range can differ based on various factors such as skillset, knowledge level, industry experience, economic conditions, etc. Thus, the starting salary for each student may vary.

SKCT ME/MTech admission process can be divided into four stages. The process begins with the application stage. Any candidate with 50% and above marks in graduation is eligible to apply. The candidate also must have a valid GATE/CEETA score.

Next, the candidate has to apply to TANCET/GATE/CEETA counselling portal. The counselling committee allocates seats on the basis of score and subsequent rank in accepted exams, choice of institution, and institute’s seat intake. Once, the seats are allocated, selected students must report to the allotted institute and pay the prescribed fees. Successful payment of fees completes the admission process.

Sri Krishna College of Technology has an intake of 120 seats for its program. To get a seat, aspirants must first meet the eligibility requirements. Any candidate who has passed graduation with a minimum of 50% is eligible to apply. Next, the candidates are required to register for the counselling process. During the counselling, these seats are allocated based on accepted exam score, rank, and institute’s seat intake.

Scores of various entrance examination procedures are accepted in Sri Krishna College of Technology for admission into B.Tech. The primary entrance procedure under consideration includes the merit-based Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions based on student performance in Higher Secondary Examination. Besides, applicants are also considered against marks earned at the national level in JEE Main and state levels through entrance examination. Sri Krishna College of Technology is in general Tier 2 in Indian engineering college ranking. Though it is producing quality engineers, the reputation of this college is good in Tamil Nadu, particularly for specific engineering streams, and does not usually stand in line with the elite Tier 1 ones like IITs or NITs.
