M.Sc general chemistry has great faculty members.
Placements: I am a pass-out student of the 2020 M.Sc chemistry batch. Placements through our college are not satisfactory. Only 9-10 students out of 38 got placements with a salary of Rs. 16,000 per month. Only two placements are arranged by our college because of the corona situation in 2020. In previous years, placements were average.
Infrastructure: We had no Wi-Fi facility, but classrooms and labs are very good with all chemicals. The main aspect of our college is our library as it has almost all the books with very good facilities. The hostel is run by both Sahyadri Science, arts and commerce colleges. The boys' hostel costs Rs. 22,000 per year. Food is very good, and they serve non-vegetarian food once a month. The hostel for ladies doesn't have a non-vegetarian food facility.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, and enough teachers are available for the course. They are supportive, especially M.Sc general chemistry staff members. The course improves the theoretical knowledge of the students, but the practicals of Kuvempu University are not up to the mark. They don't make you completely industry-ready.
Other: This college has a good infrastructure, but labs can be improved. Placements are not satisfactory, but scholarships, fests and many extracurricular activities are common on the campus.

Good placements and infrastructure.
Placements: Placements in the college are quite good, and many companies like Asian Paints, JK Tyres, etc. visited the campus for placements offering the salary packages of 2-3 lacs per annum. Our institute has tie-ups with some of the big organisations and industries which give students a good platform to showcase their skills. We also get many internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. All the facilities like library, computer lab, chemistry lab, physics lab and Wi-Fi are available. The campus is good, and hygienic food is available in the canteen. The food quality is good, and the classrooms are fully AC equipped. The college provides us with transportation facilities also.
Faculty: This institute has rich courses of management, commerce and science which help the students to enrich their skills and knowledge in their prospective field. The faculty members are friendly, helpful and supportive in nature. They also provide some case-studies and give us many opportunities to work in the presentations.

Sahyadri A view into knowledge!
Placements: Yes! It's good Everyone is well placed in the best companies. Even some are preparing for the UPSC exams and other banking exams. The best placements will be there in the public sector. Some chemical companies will take us for private works and we have a better pay scale comparing to others.
Infrastructure: Very good Well, structured rooms and buildings. Every facility is wonderful. But hostels need to be improved. Infrastructure is wonderful and classes are hygienic and well maintained. It has a wide area of land for practical works.
Faculty: Yes, they are supportive in all aspects.
As per the course, curriculum concerned it needs some improvements because all are following old updated notes. Even notes available on the internet so that it can be easy to go through the notes after classes. Faculty is love here.
Other: Regular fests will be there. As it is in the city there will be best crowdings for the events.
