An old golden gem giving the best efforts- M. H. Saboo Siddik College.
Placements: For example, if in a class there are 80 students, out of which there are 30 students who get a pointer above 7.5, so they instantly get selected for campus placements, then they go through multiple rounds, and at the end, 12-20 students are placed.
The highest package I've heard of was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA.
Mainly we would get some jobs related to cybersecurity, and most of the students prefer jobs from outside rather than college placements.
Infrastructure: The size of the college is not that huge, as it has a very small ground; even on the ground, you would find kids from Diploma playing and wandering around. There is no free Wi-Fi provided; the canteen is decent; there is no attached hostel for the college, but one near CST Library is average but not air-conditioned. Labs are good, but systems are of older versions, and most of them are not working.
Faculty: In the college, 3/5 teachers are good. If you pay attention to the classes, not all teachers are bad, but yes, some are really worse, but the good ones are really good and very supportive.
The course curriculum is the same as Mumbai University, and I don't think it gives much to make you industry-ready; instead, try to learn some more stuff from outside and make it better.
Pass percentage is medium, and the exams are easy if we study 3 months before the exam with a slow and understanding phase.
Other: I chose this course because I got it in less cutoff.
I wish Mumbai University would change their curriculum and make it better so that people would learn what they actually need to learn and make it worth it for the next time. And about events, they are not up to the mark.

Pretty decent college. Needs better infrastructure .
Placements: B.E. Computer engineering. Placement rate for recent batches is around 60-80%. The highest package would be 12 LPA and the lowest would be 3 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, infosys, wipro, capgemini, and LTIMindtree. Around 50-70% students gets internships.
Infrastructure: The college doesn't provide a hostel. Overall course infrastructure is pretty good. The computers are working, the faculty members are good. Great Wi-Fi installed. The classrooms are good and pretty clean. The canteen food is good but can be better. I don't think they provide games in this college .
Faculty: The teachers are great. They have the knowledge about the course they are teaching. The curriculum should focus more on the practical things rather than theoretical. The semester exams are conducted by Mumbai university so they are somewhat difficult.
Other: I'd like this college to have better surroundings. Maybe a better common room where people can sit and relax. I'd like them to place benches for sitting as there's no place to sit leisurely .

Absolutely dissatisfied with the management of this college, rest of everything is good, if you are.
Placements: The percentage of students getting placed at Saboo depends on the type of skills they have. It's all up to you, if you can grab, it's yours. Saboo plays no role in get you hire by a company. The highest package is 14 LPA, and the top recruiting company is Sogolytics.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is overall good. Saboo has just got new systems for our department. What else can we expect from them. They have designated librarians for each department and also they provide laptops to underprivileged students.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very good, they are really helpful and help in every aspect. Each coin has two sides, and so does Saboo. The course curriculum is far relevant. The no curriculum will never make you industry. It's up to you and your skills. You are responsible for your future, so don't rely on the college.
Other: They have a number of scholarship options too.
