Basic Infrastructure, average Placements and Academics, good college for pursuing B.Sc. CS.

Placements: 50-60% of students get placed in the companies which come for recruitment. The highest package is offered by Deloitte for Data Analyst Role whose package lie between 3.8-4Lpa. The lowest package could be 1.2-1.5Lpa with companies like TCS, Wipro. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Deloitte, Capgemini. It is mandatory for everyone to do internship as it is a paper in sem 6. Top roles are Developed, Tester, Data Analyst.

Infrastructure: The Classrooms are well-equipped with Smart Boards, Speakers and Cameras. There are 3 Computer Labs two Departmental labs and 1 Central Lab which are well-equipped with computer for every students and smart boards for easy explanation of concepts with practical knowledge. There are departmental and central libraries for issuing books and studying. Hostels are available with double and 4 sharing beds and with average facilities. Food in mess is also average and canteen food is good. All sports equipment is provided for playing for the hostel students.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and focus on helping students with doubts in the syllabus. Teaching quality in college is good. Course curriculum is based on the old as well as new technology so it gives the mixed view of the what's actually working in the industry. Semester exams are based on water is taught in the class so it is not much difficult. Almost near about 80- 90% of the students tend to pass the exam easily.

Other: I chose B.Sc. Computer Application because I was very much interested to learn about software and try to build them. College do teach me many things about computers and software but building a good software is a tedious task and it may not be learned with the course as it is already information overdose so it should be learned by taking some time out and learning from various other resources. Updating the syllabus with the latest industry requirements should be improved. Events and extracurricular activities keep on happening in the college every now and then.

This is the best college in Ranchi because of discipline, courses, and facilities.

Placements: A good percentage of students get placed in different companies. The highest salary package offered ranges from 3.5 LPA - 4 LPA. The minimum salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Deloitte, SAP Labs, Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, DXC Technology, Byju's, Hexaware, Qinfo Consulting, and a few more companies visit our campus to hire students. Roles offered are analyst, support technician, etc. If you are good at coding or development then you will get placed. This year, only two students from our section got selected for internships in SAP Labs.

Infrastructure: A hostel facility is provided to SC or ST students. Wi-Fi is not open for students. We have a common library where we can study and several books are available. It also provides department offices. We have three computer laboratories. There are 3 canteens in this college. The sick room is also there. There is a common room for girls. We have a football ground, one volleyball, two basketball courts, and one indoor games hall.

Faculty: Teachers focus more on the syllabus. Few teachers teach very well while few are not up to the mark. Our course curriculum is designed well but due to the limited schedule, grabbing everything precisely is not possible. It makes students ready for the industry. Semester examinations are not difficult if you study according to previous years' questions. Around 10-15% of arrears can be found in 1st and second year.

Quite satisfied with the facilities and infrastructure.

Placements: The number of students who have opted for this course in my college is 144. The placements in the college are quite good. Companies like Wipro, Deloitte, SAP Labs, and Infosys come and recruit students from our college. The highest package offered was 6 Lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure and facilities are good. It has 3 air-conditioned computer labs with a good seating capacity, a gym, a library, a boys' hostel, a game center and a cafeteria. The classrooms are well-furnished with smart class facilities. It also provides Wi-Fi access for students.

Faculty: The teachers are very friendly, highly qualified, and have a good rapport with students. The techniques employed by them in teaching are awesome. They correlate with daily life examples to make us understand difficult concepts in theory. The course curriculum is very relevant and optimised to make students industry-jobs. Exams in our college are pretty difficult to clear and very conceptual, and students with good and thorough understanding of the subject can only ace it with a good CGPA. The pass percentage of the college is above average.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the subject. The best thing I like about this course is that it gets me into the technological world. It has numerous career options to pursue. The thing which should be improved in this course is that it should be more practical rather than theoretical. Apart from that, it should teach skills which are relevant to the present generation and not outdated.

A good college, but no opportunities for extracurricular activities or internships to broaden your h

Placements: There are average placements in the department of computer science. Most of the companies that visit for mass recruitment, such as TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, etc. The average salary package is around 3 to 4 LPA, and the highest salary package is around 6 LPA or so. The roles offered are those of software developers, project managers, etc. It's beneficial for you to learn skills beyond the course curriculum. It helps to improve your chances of getting recruited. We didn't get any on-campus internship drives either.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is sufficiently good. There is Wi-Fi available, a library, and reading rooms. There are air conditioners provided in the labs but not in the classrooms. The classrooms are well lit and spacious. There is only one boy's hostel on the campus, which is kind of a drawback.

Faculty: The faculty are qualified and knowledgeable, but it is up to you how much you can take from them. Nothing is spoon-fed and you have to help yourself sometimes. The course curriculum is pretty relevant but mostly theory-oriented. Hence, the practical applications need to be taken care of for good placements. The semester exams are fairly easy if you study well enough. You should try to maintain a CGPA of 7 or above.

Other: There is a dire necessity to maintain 75% attendance. If not maintained, you get a year back in that particular paper, which doesn't quite let you do much apart from attending classes for about 6-7 hours. There are no coding clubs or anything. The campus crowd you get here is a mixed bunch.

It is the best college of Ranchi in everything.

Placements: About 70% of our batch got placed in good companies. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are SAP, Deloitte, LTI, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Almost 50% of students got internships in Ranchi Companies and some of them got online internships.

Infrastructure: Out best lab is the CC lab and hundreds of computers are there with good furniture. Library has every book which you want and there is one big library for every department. College only provides a boys hostel. There are two canteens, one of them is the best named Green Chilli cafeteria.

Faculty: Teachers here are helpful but as we are in college we need to solve many of the problems by ourselves. Teaching is good and you will get all notes. The course is a little bit old and new subjects should be added. Semesters exams are moderate. If you study daily then it's easy or else in the end it could be hard.

Other: I chose this course because I love computers since childhood and I want to become a programmer. The best thing about our course is a sure job by clearing on-campus or off-campus companies' exams.

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students are placed in our course. The highest salary offered is 2 lacks per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 2,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month. Google, Amazon, etc., are the top recruiting companies for our course. Almost 80-90% of the students got internships from our course in Amazon technical companies. Computer-based rules are offered in our course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is very good. Our department has a Wi-Fi connection and the best labs. We also have clean classroom facilities. The hostel facility is also good and the food served is amazing. In the hostel, I felt like I am leaving my home. Hostel also has medical facilities.

Faculty: Teachers in our college department are very helpful, and they help in any situation. They treat all the students the same. They provide excellent notes. The teaching quality of our department teachers is very good. This course makes students industry-ready. There are no difficulties in the semester exam. Teachers explain all the topics very well.

Other: I chose this course because I love computers and the best thing about this course is very easy to learn. Our department organised a fest in January and we enjoy it a lot.

Infrastructure is very good, and it is the best college in Ranchi.

Placements: Around 90% of the students got placed in the college. Top recruiting companies were Deloitte, Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. Around 50% of the students got internships. The highest salary package offered is 3.8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is around 1.6 LPA.

Infrastructure: College hostels are available for both boys and girls separately, and it depends on a first-come-first-serve basis. There are many PGs nearby the college, which you can try if you won't get a seat in the college hostel. Labs are spacious and with an air-conditioner facility, and there are five to six canteens also.

Faculty: Teachers are highly experienced and skilled. The curriculum is a bit old, but it works as it prepares you for the industry. The pass percentage is around 95%. Students pass because the curriculum is old, but it is not that difficult. The quality of education is the best you can get in Ranchi.

Other: Our college organises a fest every year, but because of covid-19, it hasn't been organised for the last two years. Fests are huge for three days, and they are awesome.

It is absolutely one of the best colleges in Ranchi.

Placements: The placements are good. You can get a chance to work in companies like Wipro, Infosys, Tata etc. About 5-6 Lacs per annum is the average package you can get in on-campus placements. I don't know much about internships as we are having online classes currently due to the pandemic.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are quite good, and the canteen is really awesome with a variety of food. Gym facilities are also available, which is the best thing I know, and also a variety of sports and games are available in our college.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, but at the same time, they are very strict too. Semester exams are not much tough, but most of the questions usually come from what teachers told us that is important. You have to focus on studies and note down the important questions during the lectures.

Other: I am currently pursuing B.Sc. computer applications as we all know that, at the current time, the IT sector is growing and developing so much. Lots of events and fests are conducted by our college. Scholarships are provided to needy students.
