A good college, but no opportunities for extracurricular activities or internships to broaden your h

Placements: There are average placements in the department of computer science. Most of the companies that visit for mass recruitment, such as TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, etc. The average salary package is around 3 to 4 LPA, and the highest salary package is around 6 LPA or so. The roles offered are those of software developers, project managers, etc. It's beneficial for you to learn skills beyond the course curriculum. It helps to improve your chances of getting recruited. We didn't get any on-campus internship drives either.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is sufficiently good. There is Wi-Fi available, a library, and reading rooms. There are air conditioners provided in the labs but not in the classrooms. The classrooms are well lit and spacious. There is only one boy's hostel on the campus, which is kind of a drawback.

Faculty: The faculty are qualified and knowledgeable, but it is up to you how much you can take from them. Nothing is spoon-fed and you have to help yourself sometimes. The course curriculum is pretty relevant but mostly theory-oriented. Hence, the practical applications need to be taken care of for good placements. The semester exams are fairly easy if you study well enough. You should try to maintain a CGPA of 7 or above.

Other: There is a dire necessity to maintain 75% attendance. If not maintained, you get a year back in that particular paper, which doesn't quite let you do much apart from attending classes for about 6-7 hours. There are no coding clubs or anything. The campus crowd you get here is a mixed bunch.

It is the best college of Ranchi in everything.

Placements: About 70% of our batch got placed in good companies. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are SAP, Deloitte, LTI, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Almost 50% of students got internships in Ranchi Companies and some of them got online internships.

Infrastructure: Out best lab is the CC lab and hundreds of computers are there with good furniture. Library has every book which you want and there is one big library for every department. College only provides a boys hostel. There are two canteens, one of them is the best named Green Chilli cafeteria.

Faculty: Teachers here are helpful but as we are in college we need to solve many of the problems by ourselves. Teaching is good and you will get all notes. The course is a little bit old and new subjects should be added. Semesters exams are moderate. If you study daily then it's easy or else in the end it could be hard.

Other: I chose this course because I love computers since childhood and I want to become a programmer. The best thing about our course is a sure job by clearing on-campus or off-campus companies' exams.
