It is a decent college, and here you will get what you pay for.

Placements: I am in the last semester of my graduation. I have not received any placement calls or emails till now. None of our seniors has received any placement offers from college. If you want placement guaranteed colleges, then join other colleges.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are huge here. Smartboards are available. However, there is no Wi-Fi facility. The library is large, and it has a good number of books. You need to make a library card each semester to bring books to your home. I never want to college's canteen, so I cannot comment on it. Labs are well-equipped.

Faculty: Teachers in our mathematics department are helpful. However, our books are written in English, and teachers will teach you in the Bengali language only, so it is disappointing for students coming from a non-Bengal background. Papers for semester exams are coming directly from the university. The pass percentage is 40% or 4.0 SGPA.

Other: Events like Lakshya are organised at a gap of one year. Well-known singers like Arijit Singh, Mika Singh, Shreya Ghoshal and Sonu Nigam visit for live performances.

I'm highly satisfied with the college.

Placements: The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are available on the campus. We have air-conditioned computer labs. Classrooms are very huge. The library on the campus is good. The food served in the canteen is good. Medical facilities are available. Annual sports are arranged every year which is enjoyed by us.

Faculty: Professors in our college are very good. They help us in our study. They provide notes and extra classes if students are interested. Their behavior is also good. They always encourage us in our studies. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. Overall the college provides a very good quality education.

Other: College social, freshers welcome, and many other cultural programs are arranged and enjoyed by students. The campus is good but small. NCC courses are also available.

Satisfied with the faculty, infrastructure and facilities, but the main problem is placements.

Placements: It is a nice college. The fee of the course is very nominal, 2,500 per semester. But no direct placements are provided by our college. Faculty members use the modern equipment for study purposes that's made us ready for our higher studies and jobs. In our course, we have practical classes which are very essential for our future.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Library, canteen, classrooms, labs, hall, and a common room are available. Everything is well maintained. The infrastructure of our college is improving day by day. I knew it because my brother also got admission in Surendranath College in 2018. That's why I know the difference of our college from 2016 to 2018.

Faculty: The faculty members are helpful and good. They use new technologies for our education, and this helps us in our future. It's a government college, so all the teachers are qualified. They are always ready to adopt new things which are very beneficial for students. The teaching quality of most of the teachers is awesome.

Other: I chose this stream because I am interested in this field. Most of the things in our college are good, but the main problem is that the college doesn't provide direct placements. But this is the problem in a majority of government colleges.
