Dissatisfied with the infrastructure and hostel facility.

Placements: For placements, you have to participate in different internship programmes, like on-campus and off-campus. Internships will let you gain experience which will be beneficial for us. About 60% students got placed in several pharmaceutical companies. The highest package depends upon your previous experience. If you have participated in any internship then surely you will be highlighted in the selection phase. Companies like Pharma easy, Alpha Health, etc. are the top recruiters. Top roles offered are medicine analysts and researcher.

Infrastructure: The infra of the college can be improved. Wi-Fi is available but it works very slowly. Labs are well-maintained. Classrooms are also well spaced. Library contains every book and the condition of books is also very good. Hostel is still a disappointment for me because it's a very old building converted to hostel. No hygiene and no cleanliness is present. Very bad experience. Food quality is also not up to the mark. Canteen and medical facilities are somewhat good. Sports and games have no compromise in this college. All the indoor and outdoor games are available.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful. The quality of teaching was also good. If one attends all the lectures then definitely, he/she will not face any problem in his/her upcoming examinations. Semester exams are quite difficult but if you are well prepared than you will pass them with flying colors. Pass percentage is 40%.

Other: I chose microbiology course because it sounds very good. I like to know about different medicines and their uses so this course has always excited me and encouraged me to do my best. Events and fest are always a core part of student’s life because besides study, it also trains us for different activities.

The college is very popular in university, and In NAAC review, it always carried a good grade.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students got placed in our course. In our course, the highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month, the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month, and the average salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. Mainly our course is based on research mediated, so many medical, food, beverages and pharmacy companies are recruiting our students like Amul, Tata, Dr Reddy's, etc. Almost 50% of the students got internships from our course in Equionex and Fabiosys Innovation. Top roles offered in our course are researchers and professors.

Infrastructure: There are big facilities for students who are interested in the medical field but have not passed NEET in our course. The department is facilitated with free Wi-Fi, air-conditioned and a separate lab, well-furnished wardrobes, refrigerator, materials, microorganisms culture and glass utensils. Classrooms are modern, and teachers teach us with the help of projectors and laptops. Needy students can purchase free textbooks and reference books with the help of a library card. There is a well-decorated canteen in our college, and the price of the food is reasonable. Tasty and hygienic food is served here. In every class, first aid boxes are available, and medical teams are always available for critical conditions. Indoor games like carrom, chess and table tennis are available in the common room, and every year cricket, football tournaments and annual sports day are held on the university ground.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are upgraded with their studies day by day with modern technology. They helped us in our lab works, and mostly they are very punctual. All teachers are PhD qualified from famous universities. There are 5 permanent teachers, 2 part-time professors, 3 guest lecturers and 2 lab assistants. This course curriculum is relevant, and it helped students to be industry-ready. Teachers encourage and taught us how to be prepared for any interview and campusing. Semester exams in this college are moderately tough. The pass percentage in the theory is 30%, and in the practical, it is 50%.

Other: I want to be a doctor, but I didn't take admission into government medical college for lack of percentage in exams. So, I decided to get admission into the microbiology course. In future, I will become a successful microbiologist. The best thing about our course is, after completion of B.Sc, students can choose various fields in M.Sc like forensic science, biotechnology, medical biotechnology, marine biology and agricultural microbiology. I suggest our university to improve their semester wise syllabus for the course. Seniors are very helpful, and they have fraternised with us. Every year our college social fests are conducted in Netaji Subhas Indoor Stadium. Students who are financially poor get scholarships from our college fund.
