Poor placements in the year 2015.

Placements: Placements for the 2015 batch were not good. Only 30% of the total students in 2015 batch had been placed. The highest salary offered was 25000 per month, the lowest salary was 15000 per month and the average salary was 20000 per month. The main roles offered to the students were civil engineer, site engineer, quantity and quality engineer, and billing engineer.

Infrastructure: There was no facility of Wi-Fi provided. Some of the lab machines or equipment was not available for the practical purpose. Classrooms were good and the library was also good. All types of civil engineering and other books are available in the library. The medical facility was also good. Sports items were available but there was no time available for sports. The canteen food available that time was OK but there was no facility like a hostel or boarding.

Faculty: Some of the faculty members were very helpful at that time. In the civil engineering department, the best faculty team was there at that time. They had a good knowledge about the field as well as theoretical. Methods used for teaching were good. In my batch of 2015, there were 120 students in the civil department and 10 faculty members available at that time. But right now, some of the good faculty members have left the college.

The college is for the student who want to learn. There is no compromise with quality of study.

Placements: I am a 3rd-year student of the CE branch. The placement cell is not very active to call the companies. My seniors are not placed very well as only 4 to 5 students have been placed till now for this year. So, the placement is no satisfactory, but there is full hope that some more companies will come till the semester end.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. There is a library which has enough books related to all courses and subjects. A sports period is also held. A primary medical treatment is also available, but Wi-Fi is only for faculty members, not for students. A computer lab is available and students can use it.

Faculty: The civil faculty team is the best in all colleges of Indore. They are well experienced and knowledgeable. All teachers are MTech-qualified. The head of the department interacts takes feedback from the students. So, it is the best college for CE in Indore.

Other: In the field of civil engineering, the private companies are very few. So it can be understood why the college is not providing large placements in that particular CE branch. The college has the best faculty members and they give us quality knowledge. All labs are fully equipped to provide better field knowledge. There is an annual culture program held every year.

Candidate must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Maths & Chemistry/ Biotech./ Biology/ Tech. Voc. subject/ Comp. Sc./ IT/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business studies as optional subjects with the above-mentioned aggregate percentage (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates (except Creamy layer) candidates belonging to Madhya Pradesh) in subjects taken together. Candidates passed 10+2 with grading system, must have grades equi. to mentioned aggregate %. Candidates who had passed 10+2 with grace marks in any subject can also apply provided they have scored mentioned aggregate % excluding grace marks. Result awaited student are also eligible on provisional basis.
