SKIT is one of the best third-tier colleges in Jaipur.
Placements: Highest package offered till now is 42 LPA, and on average, 3-6 LPA is offered by major companies like TCS, IBM, Microsoft, Infosys, etc. Students enrolled in this specialization have the opportunity to enroll in both software and hardware companies, which opens more job opportunities.
Infrastructure: All the labs and classrooms are well-equipped with white/blackboards and projectors. Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the campus, whether you are in the classroom or in the hostel. Hostels are well equipped with all the basic facilities like duct systems and hot/cold water sources. Mess food is average, like any other hostel. Multiple sports facilities are available, and many tournaments are organized.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and have great subject knowledge and are very helpful in both academic and personal needs. The course followed is designed by RTU Kota, which is well designed to make students industry-ready. Each semester exam is easy to crack with proper study.
Other: This course is specialized in both hardware and software fields. Many fests are organized throughout the semesters. The campus is surrounded by all the required facilities and needs.

Really good placements all the time.
Placements: Approximately 100% of student got placements who have done their B.Tech course without any failure or backlogs. Many companies in our college have been recruiting for many years like most common companies are Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are provided on all campuses of the college. Classrooms are in good condition. Library conditions are excellent. Food and hostel facilities are good. The hostels are clean and air-conditioned for all seasons. Also, there are two types of hostels like AC and non-AC.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They ask students to ask their doubts. There are extra doubt classes for some particular subjects. They prepare students for placement ready. The semester exams are difficult, not too much but they are tricky and need logic to be solved. The pass percentage is good in midterms.
Other: I like the electronic and signal systems. The circuit design part is very good that I like mostly in this branch. Events are awesome in college.

Teachers are the best part, but in placements, students have to rely on themselves.
Placements: From last year's batch, about 40-50% of students were placed. From the current batch, about 20% are placed til now. The highest package is 22 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS and Infosys. Almost 60-70% of students secured internships, but only 20-25% got internships from reputed companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but the college area is too small. The Wi-Fi in the college is limited for everyone. Students living in hostels inside the campus get 3 GB per day, while other students get 1.5 GB per day. The library has many books, including course materials, journals, novels, biographies of famous people, and spiritual books. The computer room and other study spaces are best for studying. Classrooms and labs are also good, and labs rarely have any problems. The hostel quality is good, but the food in the mess is worse than everything.
Faculty: Teachers are the best part of the college. Every teacher is helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is best. Teachers not only help students in academic growth but also counsel them for career development. The course is not enough to be industry-ready. Students require more skills to master. The semester exams are not too difficult, not too easy. About 30% of students fail due to a lack of study, but the marking of answer sheets is genuine and good.
Other: I chose this course because I want to grow my career in computer hardware and robotics, and it also depends on my JEE marks. The course can be improved by providing practical knowledge and experience with industrial projects rather than just focusing on theory. Events and fests are organized 2 times a year. The first is the ICI Fest, and the second is the annual cultural event. Scholarships are rarely provided in the college. I haven't seen any students in my class or among seniors and juniors who have got scholarships.

The college is best for engineering.
Placements: According to college data, almost 70%-80% of students were placed in each branch. The highest package of my college was 47 LPA, the lowest was almost 2 LPA, and the average package was 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were TCS, Infosys, WatchGuard, etc. Almost 50% of students got internships from my college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college was decent, the campus was full of trees and greenery. Wi-Fi was available in all campus and classrooms were decent. There were no ACs for students, library was good and good for studying. There were two hostels for girls and boys, the quality of food was not good. According to students, there was a small canteen and a stationery shop in college. There were many opportunities for sports, there were football ground, badminton court, basketball court, volleyball, and other indoor games.
Faculty: In this college, teachers were very friendly to students, they helped with exams and projects. The quality of teaching was excellent, the level of semester exam depended on the student, if he worked hard, so he could easily clear them. The pass percentage in my college was 36%.
Other: My course was electronics and communication, the reason for choosing this course is simple, I had an interest in both hardware and software industries. My wish was to increase the campus area. There was an event called Pravah in March, the event lasted 7 days. And an ICI fest also of 3 days.

The college is decent. Placements are average. It has good faculty members. It is good for students.
Placements: 30-40% of eligible students for placements get placed in companies. The highest package offered is 27 LPA by Juspay in which ECE students are eligible. The lowest package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA. The average package ranges from 4-5 LPA. Several companies offer internships like Texas Instruments, TCS, etc. But only 4-5 % of students got internships. The top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Infosys, Juspay, Texas Instruments, Genus, etc. Roles offered by most companies are junior engineer, project manager, web designer, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided in my college are pretty decent. Infrastructure is also average. The Wi-Fi facility is also good but it has so many restrictions like access timing, no downloading, etc. Labs have decent quality instruments but some of them are so bad. The library is the best in my college. It has many books necessary for a student to study and personality development. Classrooms are average. There is No AC and no ducting and has so much heat. The hostel is decent but has many restrictions which frustrate students. Food provided in mess and canteen is not good. Sports facilities are below average.
Faculty: Faculty members of my college are above average. They are always ready to help students. My college has minimum qualification criteria for teachers so that students get good teachers. They also have good knowledge about their subjects. The course curriculum does not make students industry-ready. Students have to learn about the technology used before the year 2000-2010. So the course is not relevant. The college is so strict about exams and exams are pretty difficult and have standard passing criteria.
Other: My reason for choosing this course is it has a wide range of career opportunities with higher salaries than other courses. The best thing about my course is the high-paying career options across diverse engineering and non-engineering disciplines. In my college, few events are organised in a year, and only 2 big fests are organised in a year. Scholarships provided for students are only TFWS seats and some students get a few government scholarships. Extracurricular activities are organised by college clubs like NSS, yoga, etc.

My college SKIT Jaipur is the best option for engineering in Jaipur.
Placements: Placements are decent for computer science students but for others, it's advisable not to have much expectations from the college, average placement is 4-6 LPA. Out of 1200 students almost 400 are placed, also some difficulties in getting internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that good as compared to other private colleges or universities in Jaipur, but sufficient to fulfill the needs. All labs and classrooms are well maintained, but the sports facilities are not good. The canteen is okay but the mess food could be much better.
Faculty: The curriculum and faculty are good enough, to back us with good academic support. As the institute has become autonomous so no RTU affiliation burden, and academics are good. The semester exams are a bit tough and the answers books are checked strictly. Most of the teachers are friendly and helpful.
Other: The campus is a bit small, but the events and fests organized are really enjoyable. The connectivity is well as there are many transport facilities available.

Review of SKIT, Jaipur.
Placements: In the academic year 2023, Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, Jio platform, and Hexaware Technology were major recruiters on our college campus. 887 students were placed in companies, of which 82 students were placed in Cognizant. 66 students were placed in TCS. 62 students were placed in Hexaware Technology. 36 students were placed in Infosys. The average placement for colleges was around 4.75 LPA while the highest on-campus placement was 15 LPA. The highest package that a student got was 45 LPA (off-campus). Our college provided internships to students in their pre-final or final year.
Infrastructure: Our college has decent infrastructure it is spread over 13 acres where we have different kinds of blocks for different branches like CS block, electrical block, civil block, and mechanical block. Classrooms of different branches are held in their special blocks. College provides a well-maintained central library which has all books related to our courses. Our college provides practical knowledge. Chemistry, physics, and mechanical workshops are major labs in our college while our college also focuses on soft skills and engineering ethics for this we have a communication skill lab and a human value lab.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are experienced, friendly, and helpful. Most teachers are Ph.D. holders in their fields and are friendly with students. However, we have to maintain 75% attendance in our semester and exams. Our course curriculum provides us with analytical, practical, and communication subjects. The difficulty semester exam is categorized into three bloom levels 1, 2, and 3. The first level is theoretical, the second level is numerical, and the third level is application-based questions. Passing criteria in our college is 35% marks in end term main examination.
Other: I chose electronics and communication because I had an interest in semiconductors and the electronic field. The best thing about my course it's the demand in the future. The major event of our college is Pravah which is organized in February, in this event celebrities and alumni visit our college technical and nontechnical. Competitions are organized in our college during the Pravah. Aaveg is the sports fest which is organized in our college. Scholarships like Pragati scholarships are provided to the girls and social justice scholarships are provided to economically weaker students.

SKIT has great placements, decent facilities, and the best sports, but the faculty is lacking.
Placements: About 80% to 90% of students get decent placements at SKIT. The highest package is 51 LPA, while the lowest is around 3 LPA. The average package is about 5 LPA to 6 LPA, which is considered a pretty good placement. Many top companies come for campus interviews at our college, such as TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Adani Group, and more. Cognizant is one of the mass recruiters here. Internship opportunities are excellent, and many of my friends are doing internships starting from the first year. Around 50% to 60% of students are currently doing internships.
Infrastructure: Facilities are decent at our college. Classrooms and washrooms are regularly cleaned. The only downside is that the classrooms are not air-conditioned, which makes it hard to study during the summer. There are labs with good-quality equipment and a central library that is quite large. The Wi-Fi speed is also good, and it is provided to the hostels. The facilities in the hostels are pretty good, with a gym and more. The quality of food in the mess is also decent and hygienic. The sports facilities are the best here.
Faculty: Teachers here are not that great. They are knowledgeable, but only some of them are helpful. The teaching quality is not very good, it is quite boring. The course curriculum is good and relevant. The subjects are useful and help in making students industry-ready, but one cannot fully depend on these subjects alone, as outside courses and internships are still necessary. There are two midterms and one end-semester exam. The midterms are pretty easy, but the end-semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 35%.
Other: I choose this college because it has good placements, and the sports facilities are among the best in Jaipur. The best thing about my course is the number of opportunities available here for internships and job placements. I would like to improve the faculty, as their method of teaching is really boring and not at all interesting. There are good events organized here, including the annual event Pravah, where even celebrities like Nora Fatehi have come. The campus crowd is pretty decent and from all over India. The connectivity is very good.
