SKIT College is one you must consider.

Placements: About 90% of my batchmates were placed in good companies. The lowest package was around 2.5 LPA, and the highest was 8 LPA in Civil Engineering. The top recruiters were Infosys, Pinnacle, GR Infra, B2B, etc. During internships, many students preferred government departments such as PWD, JDA, Irrigation Department, RHB, etc. After completing B.Tech, the top roles offered were Trainee Engineer and then Site Engineer.

Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, and the library were top-notch as per what we were paying. We did not compare them with IITs or top private colleges because we were paying a small amount. Sports were highly supported here. There were cricket and football grounds, a separate volleyball ground, an indoor badminton hall, a tennis ground, etc.

Faculty: Teachers were really qualified and knowledgeable. I would say the course was a little outdated, but it was good. Students had to put in extra effort and learn skills to succeed, which was necessary anywhere. After all, students became ready for the industry. They took us on frequent industry visits. The ICI student chapter was a club that really helped students grow. The semester exams were not that tough. If students studied the syllabus completely, they could score amazing marks.

Other: The Civil Engineering course was a core subject. It opened paths to various government and non-government jobs and careers. Though the syllabus could have been updated, students loved the events, extracurricular activities, and campus life.

You should be disciplined in class and on campus.

Placements: In our branch, most of the students do not sit in the placement. Rest will get the average package if you have the skill set for the software and have enough field knowledge. In our college, most of the students prepare for a government job. Some have reached the position of the deputy collector.

Infrastructure: Hostel has single room with a duct in it. Food provided in the mess is in morning, lunch, evening, and dinner. In the special dinner, you get the kher on Friday and other stuff. You will get the Wi-Fi connectivity in whole campus. Classrooms are well-maintained and ventilated. Library is the best I have seen. It consists digital library and students can read with proper ventilation.

Faculty: Teachers have good nature and provide the knowledge and ways for reaching your goals. Even semesters are short, and odd semesters are long. The students are prepared for the industry from this year onwards. The students are teaching about the bridge design which is an important aspect in the current scenario. Semester exams are not easy or not tough, it will depend on your preparation and the paper set by the examiner.

Other: If you are enrolling for civil engineering try for a government job and take the software knowledge. It will help you with job placement. College has good connectivity with the road, you can reach from the Jagatpura road to the college by the help of an auto. It is also near to metro railway station. Scholarship is provided on the basis of caste, gender, and the ability of the students. We have tech fest as ICI fest which is organised by the civil department, and cultural fest Pravah.

Satisfied with faculty, studies, and discipline. It should improve infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: 60% of placements are done according to the previous year's data. The average package is 4 LPA. 80% of students got internships in IIT and other companies depending on students. Mostly, students in the civil are trying for government jobs because of the vacancies and the syllabus are similar to most government exams.

Infrastructure: Labs have all the necessary equipment. There is no AC in labs and classrooms. Wi-Fi does not work well. The hostel is very strict and the food is just okay. Sports and games are open to all but medical facilities are not there. For girls, strict entry and existence are maintained.

Faculty: Studies are really good in SKIT. Teachers pay attention to each student just like a school. Everything is well maintained and exams are from time to time. Exams are slightly difficult but well-maintained and according to the prescribed syllabus.

Other: I chose civil engineering because I want a government job that has more chances in civil and I am interested in the field and practical work. I think the college can work on its infrastructure and facilities for students. The college hosts 2 big events each year. Transportation services to college are really good and scholarships are provided to TFWS, SC, and ST students and people with good merit according to their parent's annual income.

Experience of my college life.

Placements: Students without any backlog get placed easily. The highest package is 42 LPA, and the average package ranges from 3-5 LPA. Pinnacle is the top recruiting company of our course. Many students got internships in companies like HG Infra Private Limited, Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation,, etc. It is a good college to study.

Infrastructure: The college provides well-established labs and contains all the necessary equipment. The library is open from morning 8 AM to 9 PM. The food in the canteen is hygienic and good for health. Medical facilities and sports facilities are good. It is a good college.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and supportive. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Exams are as per the syllabus and 36% is the pass percentage. Exams are not very difficult. If we study well then it is not hard to pass exams.

Other: I chose this course because of the study environment and faculty members' quality.

SKIT is the number one engineering college in Rajasthan.

Placements: Many companies visit our college to provide placements to students like Wipro, Tata Steel, etc. The average salary package is offered to 30-40% of students. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the highest salary package offered this year is 23 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of SKIT is very good. There are separate buildings for civil mechanical and computer science courses. There is also a separate building for pharmacy students. There is a central library in the college with more than 6,000 books, etc. There is also a separate department library for every department.

Faculty: Teachers of my college have completed their education from IITs like IIT Mumbai, Roorkee, etc. There are two exams first in the college internal, mid-term, and second is the main semester RTI exam. The internal exam is of 30 marks and the external exam is of 70 marks. We have to obtain 36 marks to pass exams.

Other: I chose a civil engineering course because it is simple. There are more opportunities in government jobs in civil engineering. There are many events performed in the college like the annual Pravha celebration, annual festivals celebration, other events, etc. It also invites singers and celebrities.

A good college with great opportunities but a very strict curriculum and a lack of freedom.

Placements: Our college has 2 batches consisting of 60 students each. Many students prepare for government exams so only a few apply for placements around 50%. In civil only a few companies visit for recruitment such as Asian paints, Infosys, and Adani cement and it recruits only 2 to 3 students. In our batch, out of 25 students, 2 students got placed in Asian paints. So placement is average in civil engineering. Only 20% to 30% of students got placed in civil engineering in big companies such as Asian Paints and JK Cement.

Infrastructure: Facilities are very good in civil engineering. All types of labs are available such as RMT lab and concrete lab with all equipment. Infrastructure is also good in civil department. Classrooms and toilets are clean. Library with computer, newspapers, Wi-Fi, etc., are available from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Hostel have good Wi-Fi and rooms are also good but they have very strict rules and procedure for taking leave. The quality of food in mess is low and very bad no one likes it.

Faculty: Most faculty members are good and from big colleges such as NITs. They are always ready to help students. Only one to two teachers are very strict and students find it difficult to understand and cooperate with them. Course curriculum is average, we are not able to relate to the new technology and syllabus is not up to date. Semester exam are neither hard nor easy, others are okay. Pass percentage is 33%.

Review of Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology Management and Gramothan, Jaipur.

Placements: The placement stats are decent and not very good. Companies visit campus but offer very low packages, and brilliant students also get very low pay. For particular civil branches, mostly people opt for higher studies and prepare for government jobs. Companies like JK Enterprise offer supervisory roles for placement purposes.

Infrastructure: The civil block is not so well maintained but is average and the labs are good and well equipped. The library is well furnished. The campus and all buildings are well equipped with WiFi facilities. The class size is good and with proper lights. According to my hosteler friends, the mess food is not very good and also tastes bad. Hostel rooms are good.

Faculty: The faculty is good and very attentive towards the students. The exams are of moderate level and can be cleared easily with a regular study of a few weeks. A total of 2 midterms and one end-term paper are to be given for one semester. A minimum of 36 percent is the passing percentage. The study is not very relevant and more new and latest concepts could be introduced.

Other: I chose this course because I like industrial visits. I would like to improve the course curriculum and increase industrial visits. There are events like ICI Fest, which includes sports, games and cultural activities.

My thoughts and views of SKIT.

Placements: Major students are placed from the CE section. The highest package offered in this course is around 15LPA. The average package of this college is 5LPA. The top campus visiting the college are from the IT sector and they recruit accordingly. The lowest package was that of 4 LPA this year. Local companies as well as MNCs visit the college for recruitments.

Infrastructure: The hostel is average rated. Wi-Fi, labs and library facilities are available in the college. The mess food is not so good and it can be improved. You get 2 vegetables along with roti and dahi. The campus has various sports facilities including volleyball, basketball, football, badminton, tennis, long tennis and many more. The classrooms are average in size and are enough to accommodate 70 students.

Faculty: The teachers are very kind and helping in nature. They give you every kind of knowledge possible. The curriculum is not very relevant to the real world application and can be improved. 2 midterms and one end semester exam are conducted during one semester. The difficulty level is average and they can be cleared by studying a few days before the exams.

Other: The crowd of the campus is not up to the mark. But this can not be changed. Also, the area of the campus is a bit small and we can't do anything about it.
