The college has a good crowd, faculty members and infrastructure. Placements are average.
Placements: Placements for courses like electrical, computer science and information technology are good, but placement opportunities are very less for mechanical engineering. Out of 60 students, only 3 to 4 students got placed through campus placements. Almost every student in CS and IT branches gets placed. Companies like SML, Sufi, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, etc., visited our college to recruit students. The highest salary package offered till now is 9 LPA. A placement cell is available in our college to help students find jobs. Internships are easy to get, and an average stipend is provided. Overall, the placements in our college are average.
Infrastructure: The campus has two blocks in which one is for law department, and another one is for MCA and engineering departments. Classrooms are good. An auditorium is also available to conduct all the functions and performances. The campus is lush-green, and surroundings of the college are good. The campus has two hostels, one for girls and one for boys. Food served in the canteen is great. Wi-Fi facility is not provided on the campus. The sports section is good and provides every equipment which is necessary. There are a football ground and a basketball court.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and qualified in their respective fields. They have good teaching sense and quality. Projectors are used for teaching when required. They work quite well. Industry exposure is provided to the students and mostly for mechanical engineering students. Subjects available in the course are very useful for our future and for students who are planning to opt for higher education.
Other: Our college organises a fest in February every year. A sports meet is also held every year where different games are played. They also distribute prizes after the games.

College is fine, but poor placements and no enough hostel rooms.
Placements: There were no placements for the mechanical engineering. The placements are only offered for the computer science students and IT students. A few placements for the electronic engineering students are provided. Most of the students from our college are now jobless. Choose wisely before going to this college because this is your future, career and your entire life.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The environment is also good, peaceful and much silent. But, there are no facilities or hostel rooms available for the first-year students in the college. They have to take PGs near or far from the college. But, for the middle-class family, the rent of PGs seems much higher.
Faculty: About the faculty and course, I will say it is fine as compared to private colleges But, some of the professors are only for namesake, not for work. They came to the college only for time pass or to earn money. But, some of them are very excellent teachers especially Maths teacher, Mr Vinay Arora Sir, so the thing I want to say is that teaching is also fine but not too good.
Other: The events and fests are celebrated every year, and there is a trend of calling a singer to the fest. So, every year, a Punjabi singer comes there. The previous year, Ninja and Mankirat Aulakh came here. There are many scholarships provided for the students.

PUSSGRC, a good destination for a hard working student.
Placements: Placements for the CS and IT branches are pretty good but very low for mechanical and ECE branches. The college staff members are working on it. They are developing more skills in the students so they can get placed easily in CS and IT branches. 70 to 95 percent students are placed but in mechanical and ECE, 30 to 50 percent are placed with an average salary of above 5 lakhs per year last year. The highest paid student was from the CS branch and the company was offering him 13.5 lakhs for a 6-month internship. The lowest paid was a senior getting 4.5 lakhs per year.
Infrastructure: It has a pretty good infrastructure with separate buildings of workshops and separate buildings for law and engineering departments. It is having a football ground and is a Wi-Fi campus. Overall, a good infrastructure with full lab facilities for CSE, IT and ECE branches but less for the mechanical branch. Sometimes, we have to go to UIET CHD to attend those labs. Every game and sport is on the campus except for cricket because there is no ground for cricket.
Faculty: The faculty team is very helpful but there are always some teachers who never support us. The director is very supportive. All teachers are well-qualified and some are qualified from IITs, NITs and other respectful colleges. Mechanical teachers have a lot of knowledge. Mostly, practicals are done in the college itself. The student-faculty ratio is pretty good.

Developing college with lots of potential
Placements: Students play the most important role in TPC. I was also a part of the same team. But the placement of mechanical branch in the core companies was not that good. I got placed in a patent industry. The highest package offered to our seniors was about 6 lacs. But the average salary of students comes to around 3 lacs.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is not very large. We have two hostels and one B.E. department building and two law buildings. Our labs were recently provided with air-conditioners but that too were not allowed to be switched on. Labs were not at all good. We had to come to Chandigarh to attend the labs or go to other companies. Our workshops are fairly good but we lack workshops for lathe machines and also permissions for the same are difficult to get.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members were not good. But few of them were really good at what they taught. Talking about our teachers, most of them used to either cram and spat it all out or will directly just read it through the book. Industry exposure was pretty good in our college. The course curriculum was not at all useful in the patent industry.

Still in a developing stage.
Placements: The placements are not as good as the name of Panjab University. Only less than 50 percent of the batch got placed and that too mostly in the IT companies. The core branch companies seldom come to our campus. The only company which comes every year is Infosys and that too not for mechanical. The lowest package was 2 lakhs per annum and the highest was 4 lakhs per annum. The internship is mostly free. Some internships were paid and only those in which the students were placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that great but is in the developing stage. The classrooms are average but the equipment in the lab are not fully equipped but still are very good. There is no dearth of learning, to be honest. On a whole, the infrastructure is small but it is being constructed more for expansion.
Faculty: The student to faculty ratio is 10:1, and the course is standard as of the other colleges but the latest technology course can only be found in elite colleges such as IITs. The teaching methods are standard just like a school and no innovative methods are used for teaching purposes. The industry exposure is there sometimes but could be more. The course curriculum is useful for theoretical knowledge but for core practical knowledge, more industry exposure is needed.
