MBA in Information Technology - Batch of 2020
4.0
Absolutely satisfied with the placement and infrastructure of the college.
Placements: In our course, almost 60% of the students get placed. The highest package was 8 lacs, the lowest package was 4 lacs, and the average package was 6 lacs. The top recruiting companies were TCS, Mahindra, Kotak, etc. In our college, almost 80% students get internship in companies like Mahindra with roles like data analytics, etc.
Infrastructure: Overall, there is good infrastructure and a good environment for the students. Our campus classrooms were spacious and well maintained. The library was also fully stocked with books and the computer labs were also equipped with good-quality computers. The hostel mess food quality was good to eat. Sports and medical facilities were also available.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was also good because it made things easier to understand. The course curriculum was relevant and it definitely prepared students for this industry. Semester exams were easy to get pass and the passing percentage was 90%.

The college offers a good course curriculum, and there is a lot to learn. Placements are the worst.
Placements: Maximum of the students were placed, but not in a good company. The placement quality has been degraded badly. The TPO was behind just providing students with internships and not actually bothered about final placements. One of the companies invited by the college was the worst company to work with, and almost 14 people were recruited, but no one was offered a job as the company was not capable of providing the CTC promised.
Infrastructure: The college is sufficient enough. The canteen and library are good. There is a scarcity of classrooms, because of which second-year MBA classes are conducted in the afternoon. The projector is equipped in every classroom. There is no four wheeler parking facility. Two wheeler parking gets packed when all have classes at the same time.
Faculty: External faculty members are the best. Specialisation courses should be updated. Internal faculty members should be student-friendly rather than just misbehaving with students. Three specialisations are available here, namely software process management, business financial management and DWBI.
Other: The college conducts picnic, annual event, and sports event.

Best circulam for IT management aspirants with good faculty members.
Placements: Placements from last five years are drastically going down, before of the competition which SICSR is facing with SCIT in IT placements. 85%placement with 6 lacks heights and 4.5 the lowest, only startups and medium companies visit, roles like business analyst and data analyst are entertained.
Infrastructure: Only one tall building with 7 floors very congested and we have problem with class room available when we have all the programs functioning at the same time. Only few seats are available in hostel that to are given in merit basic. We do have Wi-Fi and other basic requirements but we don't have ground for playing we have to go to the main campus and play.
Faculty: Course structure is very well designed keeping in mind the IT industry and if it comes to faculty we have good faculty both in house and as well as external faculty members who have a strong background and experience in IT industry, most of our family faculty members are Ph.D. holders.
Other: We do have both tech events as well as cultural, we have other activities which will help us grow our personality.

Satisfactory college with good placements.
Placements: The placement officer handles the placement in SICSR. He gets the best of companies. The student can crack the interview and get a good job. MBA-IT every year gets admission of 100 students approximately, and all students get the internship from college. That is a great achievement for SICSR.
Infrastructure: SICSR is currently working on the internal infrastructure of college as it doesn't have anything much to offer in infrastructure. It has a new library, a spacious reading room for students and indoor games such as pool, chess etc. are always an option for students.
Faculty: The course in SICSR changes frequently. They do not stick with old curriculum for a long period as there is a change in market demand, so the curriculum changes accordingly. SICSR has some good visiting faculty which the internal faculty. Their teaching quality is average.
Other: Strict with attendance more focused towards studies and less towards outdoor activities.

Good Infrastructure and faculty
Placements: 100% of the students were offered the internship from the college itself. The placement was dependent on the candidate's work performance in the internship. A few companies gave direct placements and the average package offered was around 5 lakhs per anum. Companies like HSBC and Bajaj Finserv visited the campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Classrooms are well-equipped and spacious. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled and the library consists of a good number of books and magazines. The college provides a hostel for girls but it is outside the campus. The hostel has good rooms and facilities like a LAN connection and pure drinking water.
Faculty: The faculty team of the college is really good. They put a lot of efforts in teaching. Apart from the college faculty members, guest faculty members visit the college regularly. The guest faculty is really helpful in providing the industry exposure. The course curriculum is helpful as it is up to date with the latest industry norms.

Good faculty and good placements in 2017.
Placements: Placements for the batch 2015-17 were really good. 100% students were placed. The highest salary package is Rs. 6,20,000 p.a. The average salary package is 5,00,000 p.a. Companies like HSBC, Bajaj Finserv, Hurix Systems, Ansh Systems, Capgemini, Sokrati, Go Live Faster, Yardi Software, Nykaa, Webonise, etc. Roles offered were that of business analyst, quality analyst, risk analyst, programmer, and management trainee. Stipend offered were in the range of Rs. 5,000 - Rs. 25,000. Some students were offered a permanent job (skipping internship).
Infrastructure: There are minimum 6 rooms on 1 floor and there are 7 floors in all. There is a Wi-Fi lab and computer labs. There is a library where all books, magazines, newspapers and exam papers are provided, Medical checkup is also provided every year for the students. Events, parties, and programs are organized. The canteen is also good. Veg and non-veg food are always available. Hostel rooms are also provided for boys and girls. No infrastructure issues were faced. The quality of the labs and classrooms are good. Proper plugins are provided. Computer labs and big classrooms are air-conditioned.
Faculty: There are 2 types of faculty - visiting faculty and in-house faculty who come to teach us in the college. Visiting faculty are more knowledgeable and have a lot of experience. We get to learn a lot. We got the industry exposure from the visiting faculty. The course curriculum was useful as per the current trends in the industry.

Other: It feels like you are in a government college. The faculty is awesome, but the management and placement are in wrong hands. By the way, the course structure is to train you for business analysis but there were hardly any company offering freshers the post. If you really want to be in touch with IT and go for management, frankly, go for SCIT.

Other: First of all this college is strictly for those who want to make their career in Information Technology as an analyst. The MBA-IT course touches all key points that you should have as an Analyst in an organization. Second is the fee structure and placements. This is the only college with the Symbiosis tag that has a very good ROI and good placement track record with the top Fortune 500 MNCs.
