Review of Thakur college of engineering and technology.

Placements: Till now, I know courses were introduced in 2020, so students are going for placement this year, and according to our class teacher Sunil, good companies are coming this time for placement in the internet of things department. As we are specializing in electronic and computer science, the small intake chances of getting placed are quite good; nearly 50–60 percent of students are likely to be placed in good companies.

Infrastructure: One thing I like about Thakur College is that it provides engineering and technology. The infrastructure is good, and the labs have at least some high-end PCs and equipment to perform Wi-Fi. Thakur College also provides a hostel at 8,000 per month, and it also has a gym in it, which is good for fitness freaks. The canteen has good varieties of food, like South Indian, etc.

Faculty: Teachers are good, and they help teach us what to do to get good marks and how to apply that in real life. Teachers are good and experienced, and the good thing is that a monthly review of teachers is taken, and it is also good that teachers come to know reviews among students. Yes, it helps because it has an innovative exam and students can develop innovation, which helps them become industry-ready. It is an autonomous college, so you can score well easily.

Other: I chose this course because the internet of things is an emerging concept, and in the future, people like me will help in this field. Overall, I think colleges have attendance issues, meaning a minimum of 75 percent attendance is needed.

Overall this college has good infrastructure and teachers, but placements are average.

Placements: Around 70-80% of students are placed. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA. Internet of Things is the new branch in this college, and students are the first batch to pass out in 2024 so, the placements are not known to students right now.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good in this college. It has around 6 super-fast elevators. It has one auditorium with a capacity of 100 students. It also has one multipurpose hall with a capacity of 40-50 students. It has common rooms for students to play games like chess, table tennis, etc.

Faculty: In this college, faculty members are excellent, and they know their subjects very well and have a great teaching experience. Other than these things, all the other subjects are relevant to this field. I would rate it 4 out of 5, and teachers are good at teaching.
