The Heritage College is a good choice to join.

Placements: Almost more than 80 seniors from our course got placed, and for Calcutta University it is a huge achievement. You get a lot of opportunities here in the college. In B.Com course it provides you with huge opportunities for internships in top companies. I don't know about the salary offered to the students.

Infrastructure: Heritage is one of the biggest institutions in West Bengal. It has 3 canteens. The college provides 3 different laboratories which are well-equipped with expensive apparatus for chemistry. Smart classrooms are neat. There is a clean marbled flooring throughout the campus. Lift is available for the students. The college provides different games, including table tennis, carrom chess, cricket, badminton, etc. The college provides a proper hostel facility for girls on the campus. For boys, it provides the hostel outside the college but transportation is provided.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are friendly with highly qualified. They are friendly, and they are always ready to help you with their capacity. Their teaching quality is too good, but you never need extra tuition classes.

Other: I have chosen this course because chemistry is a subject from which you will never get bored of reading. Extracurricular activities or fest are organised at our college. The college organises fest like EKLISIA or Heritage Utsav which attracts a huge crowd. It is well connected to the city.

Really good infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: Degree courses don't have placements, but of course, faculty and facilities ensure a bright future ahead. The college was newly inaugurated in 2016, and our batch placements are due. Percentages obtained by the seniors are commendable, it is expected they will all have a bright future ahead. Weak students are specially taken care of.

Infrastructure: The college has a top class infrastructure with all required instruments and chemical samples. Physics lab is equipped with all modern and proper equipment. Chemistry lab is equipped with all common as well as rare reagents. Classrooms are equipped with modern teaching tools, and the library is supplied with all kinds of books, journals and information. There is an eco-friendly environment which is good for studying. Open Wi-Fi facility is provided, and there are common rooms for girls and boys to encourage free spirit. Canteen provides multi-cuisine food, and hostel rooms are spacious.

Faculty: There are renowned professors with a long time of experience. The course curriculum is as of Calcutta University. Faculty ensures to complete syllabus on time and gives extra time for practice and doubt clearing. Regular weekly tests and terminal examinations are conducted.

Other: The campus is eco-friendly. Many teaching institutions provide various other courses in the same campus. The campus is always full with hustle bustle and jolly student crowd. Various cultural events are organised, and a yearly fest is held on the campus. Sports, singing, dancing and all kinds of extracurricular activities are supported. Students prepare for scholarship exams.

Is it compulsory to study physics in 12th to pursue chemistry honors?

The eligibility for a course basically depends upon the eligibility criteria of the institute/university that you are applying for, majorly you have to opt for physics in class 12th if you are in the science stream as it is mandatory in most of the schools. Hope this helps.

Basic eligibility to pursue B.Sc (Hons) in Chemistry from The Heritage College, Kalyan Bharti Trust is that candidate should have a minimum pass mark of 60% in class 12th exams.
