Placements are good, and the environment is good to start our studies.
Placements: A good number of students in our batch and in our senior batch were placed in service-based companies like TCS, Infosys and Accenture, 60% of the students were placed in Accenture. The highest salary was offered by Amazon, which was 26 LPA and the lowest salary was offered by TCS, which was 3.48 LPA. The average salary offered by the companies was 4.5 LPA. TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Sirius, Amazon, Zoho, JDA, CTS, Sahaj, Subaj Electronics, Virtusa, MAVEL Technologies, Technicolor are the companies visited the college. Various profiles like software developer trainee, system engineer and roles related to testing were offered to the students. 20% of the students got internships from college. The highest stipend provided by CTS was Rs. 12,000 per month and the lowest stipend provided was Rs. 6,000 per month. The average stipend provided to the students was Rs. 9,000 per month. There is a placement cell. It has the list of upcoming companies which are to visit the college. The placement cell has the questions asked by the companies in the previous year during the placement process. There is great support from the placement representatives of each department.
Infrastructure: Highspeed Wi-Fi facility is available. Computer labs are air-conditioned. Classrooms and seating arrangements are comfortable. There is a central library with a large number of resources. Department libraries, indoor stadium, sports equipment, sports trainers, annual sports events, hostel facility, first-aid medical facilities, food corner, air-conditioned seminar halls, video conference hall, CCC (Central Computer Center) with 24 hours availability, are available in the college. Scholarships are provided for students. Power generators are present. The food provided in the canteen is not of great quality, and the quantity served is not sufficient. Hostel rooms are spacious, and three-sharing and four-sharing rooms are available. During my tenure in the college, as a bad water purifier system was going on behind our classroom, there was a bad smell issue in our classroom.
Faculty: All the teachers are helpful and qualified. They are knowledgeable in unique sections. Teaching was good, and the concepts are explained practically. Doubts are cleared at any time irrespective of their availability in the campus. Projectors, computers, laptops, and blackboards are used to teach the students. Online materials are also used for the study. Teachings are delivered in both the languages, Tamil and English. Some professional teachers taught only in English. The student to faculty ratio is 12:1. I didn't get industry exposure during my studies, but teachers share their industry experience. So, I gained little knowledge of it. Most of the subjects are useful, and one or two subjects didn't reach industry expectations. Also, the college updated the remaining subjects to their latest versions.
Other: Each department conducted a unique symposium. Our department conducted Techuthsav. Annual sports meet, college day, national-level workshops, national level seminars, Quest fest for school students, exhibitions for other college students, IEEE course for specific subjects offered by IIT Mumbai, placement training classes, online assessment test to improve skills in specific domains are all conducted in the college. There is a xerox store, food corners, hotels are present in the surroundings of the campus. The scholarship is provided for the students who joined through counselling. Several extracurricular activities are conducted by our college, which includes dance, singing, sports, participating in the events conducted by other colleges, etc.

Student became graduate with core knowledge.
Placements: In my college, each year many students placed in various dream, product and service companies. In each class, faculty will assign for a placement representative, he /she will give guidelines about companies and interviews. In my college the placement officer will arrange aptitude training and practice / test for the final year students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, separate class room with projector, departments labs and ( central computing centre ) is a common lab used by any student even in weekends. Department's library and common library are available. Free Wi-Fi connectivity foe entire campus. Dispensary is available and one ambulance vehicle also available. Indoor stadium and two more grounds are available.
Faculty: Mostly faculty are doctorates, teaching is differ one to another. Task are given via online like canvas, edmodo, moodle. More seminar and discussion on each subjects is useful to understand concept very easily.
3 internal exam and terminal exam in a semester ,5 theory papers and 2 labs in all semester except final semester, has project.

A good system is maintained in Thiagarajar College of Engineering.
Placements: Placements are the main part of our college. Every year, a minimum of 70-80% of the students get placed from our college. They are offered roles of a software designer, developer, tester etc. The salary package offered to them ranged between 2-6 LPA. Other students were also referred through internships for placements. It's very useful.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure with good Wi-Fi facilities. Classrooms are equipped with projectors. There is a laboratory with a free internet connection and software. There are medical facilities near the college. There is a well-maintained ground to play games. There is also a well-maintained hostel facility.
Faculty: Faculty members for each subject in our college are well trained. They make students good by encouraging activities like workshop, seminar, PPTs etc. Every semester, courses were planned and scheduled by talented and experienced staff members and then delivered to students. Examination results give good exposure to every individual in a class. Students also get practical knowledge through in-plant training, industrial visit and internships.
Other: Other extracurricular events like cultural, Quest and inter-college competitions are encouraged by the rewards of mementoes and cash prizes. Scholarships are provided to students promptly which is helpful to them. The college gets a good response from other colleges as they participate and win prizes.
