The worst college for Engineering.

Placements: No placements for any Department. Even they won't arrange a placements from atleast mid range companies. The worst in placements. My senior batch doesn't get any placements and that too happened for my batch students also. They won't arrange Internship also because they are the worst figure in placements. Placement cell is there but no use of it always closed.

Infrastructure: Lengthy building. They don't have proper toilet. Labs are in good conditions. In classrooms they won't have fan for students. Overall maintenance is not good. In summer season we can't Even sit inside a classroom, bad maintenance and the worst infrastructure. Library is best. Sports is the worst because of that faculty.

Faculty: In trichy engineering college. The faculty members are best. They will deliver their best for the students. They give proper notes to make subjects easy for struggling students. Teaching method is practical oriented. Once in semester they make a industrial visit for Mechanical while I studied. I didn't know about current situation.

Other: They won't show any interest in these kind Events etc.

Review of Trichy Engineering College.

Placements: In our college, 60 percent of students are placed. The lowest salary package is INR 15,000, which is the minimum offered by companies. The highest salary package ranges from fifty to sixty thousand. The recruiting course is mechanical engineering, and there is a 50 percent availability of internships. Park supervisors are appointed at our college, offering top roles.

Infrastructure: Our college has multiple departments, with eight to a hundred students in each. There are twenty labs available in our department, staffed by competent professionals. The hostel provides high-quality facilities in ample quantity. Hygienic canteens are available, and various sports events are organized.

Faculty: Our teachers have completed their MBAs, making them highly qualified faculty members. Many extracurricular events, such as hackathons and classes, are managed. Industrial visits are a regular feature, and the college provides internships each semester, with the 4th semester being particularly challenging.

Other: In my special department, a unique feature is the recognition as the "God of Engineering," which results in reduced fees. The college also organizes exhibitions, sports days, and provides caste scholarships along with a 7.5 percent reservation.

I am not satisfied with placements but infrastructure and facilities are very good.

Placements: Almost 5% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. The average salary package offered was 2.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies were BMW and Benz. Around 20% of students got internships at Ashok Leyland and Tata Industries. The top role offered was engineer.

Infrastructure: There was no Wi-Fi in our department. Laboratories, classrooms, and libraries were very good. Hostel facilities were better. The food served in the mess was average. Canteen was available. Medical facilities were not provided. Sports and games were not good.

Faculty: Faculty members were helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was very good. The course curriculum was relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams were moderately difficult. The pass percentage was 45%.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Our college should improve its syllabus. Our campus surroundings were very good. Events and fests were conducted in this college. Our campus crowd was average.
