I am disappointed and will never recommend joining this college.
Placements: None of the students got placed in our batch. The highest salary package offered in our course was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. No placements were provided in our batch neither internships were arranged. Site engineer is the top role in our course. I am very disappointed with the placements.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was very bad like government schools. There was no Wi-Fi facility including hostels. In college we had labs but labs don't have the latest tools. There were very small classrooms and most of the classrooms doesn't have projector facilities. It was a very bad hostel like a government hospital. The food served was of bad quality. Medical facilities were not provided. Sports and games were good.
Faculty: Faculty members including our head of the department did not have good subject knowledge. The teaching quality was very bad. The course curriculum was not relevant, and it doesn't make students industry-ready. The semester exams were easy. The pass percentage was 70%.
Other: I chose this course because I love civil engineering. Our course has good construction knowledge. I wish to change the latest syllabus as it helps to give more knowledge to students. They conduct all events on campus. The campus crowd was poor.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   Is there enough demand for BTech graduates in the job market?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

If we look at the market demand, no doubt there is huge demand for BTech (Full Form: Bachelor of Technology) graduates among top recruiters who are constantly looking for skilled and knowledgeable students with fresh ideas to enhance their business growth and profitability.

Having said that, a few previous-year employment reports published by the Business Standard and Times of India suggest that students found it a struggle to land a high-paying job after completing BTech because of a lack of industry-specific skills and knowledge and cut-throat competition between Lacs of engineering students hunting for a job.

Hence, it is very important for students to focus on enhancing their skill set according to industrial demands and technological advancements, stay updated regarding all industry trends, build good networks and, most importantly, take up internships to gain experience and stand out in front of the employer.

Q:   What is covered in Machine Design subject in B.Tech course?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

Dear candidate, the subject of Machine Design basically teaches you about the designing fundamentals of various types of machinery across industries. You get to learn about the different ways in which elements can be combined to form an equipment or machine system and get the work done in an effective manner.

The knowledge of this subject is very important for a mechanical engineer as he/she will have to put this to use in the future whenever they enter the workforce as a mechanical engineering professional.

Hope this cleared your doubt. Have a good day.

Q:   Are private sector BTech jobs better-paying than government jobs?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

Well, yes. The private sector BTech jobs in India offer a higher earning potential than the government sector jobs, including promotions, yearly bonuses, performance rewards, etc., along with a plethora of career options across different sectors. Having said that, there is less scope for job stability in the private sector due to market downturns.

The government sector is known for decent job security and other benefits like health insurance and retirement benefits. Rest, you can sit and decide for yourself whatever suits your interests the best. Best wishes.
