It is the best college that gives good future for the students.
Placements: Students with 60-65% in academics get placed on campus. The highest salary package offered is 43 LPA in 2022 and the average salary package is 4.5 LPA to 5 LPA. TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, LTI, and Accenture are some major recruiting companies. Every student can do an interesting internship either online or offline.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, electricity, and water supply are provided 24X7 in the hostel. CCTV cameras are fixed at the entrance of hostels and inside the campus. Night cafeterias are open up to 1 AM. Solar panels are installed in all hostels for hot water. Our college has good infrastructure and facilities with the best laboratories and good sports centers like badminton, football, and cricket ground. The hostel is very well maintained with good hostel guards. Our college is well-maintained and clean. The food served is very good.
Other: Scholarships are provided to students. Many events and fests are organised in our college.

Best Engineering college at low fees and government college category at Trichy region.
Placements:
10-20% students have been placed from this course because only a few companies visit this course. Top recruiters are Zoho, Tata, Infosys, etc. Both core and IT companies visit this college. Internships are offered to the students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in the classrooms is quite good. In all our labs, machineries are in working condition, no problem there. Wi-Fi is not available in this campus. A library with huge number of books is available where students visit and spend their time. One of the major demerits in our block is that there is no drinking water and no proper maintained Restrooms. Hostel is quite good but not like private hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are always ready to help. Well qualified staff is available in our course. Teaching quality is average. They never make students industry ready at all. Semester exams are quite tough because the Questions are framed by Anna University Chennai. It is not an autonomous college.
Other: Scholarship is provided by the government. Maximum sports available and a gymnasium is also available. Festivals are enjoyable in even semester months. Lots of festivals and symposiums are conducted in this college.

Placements, infrastructure and facilities are very good.
Placements: Almost 90% of the students got placed. Recruiting companies that conduct campus interviews are the best. The fee for a year is Rs. 12,000. Almost 70% of the students got internships in our course.
Infrastructure: Our college provides Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, best hostel and college, quality food, canteen, medical facilities, sports and games facilities and infrastructure for the course.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams in this college are difficult.
Other: Our college conducts events, fests and extracurricular activities. Scholarships are also offered.

I am dissatisfied because of faculty members and infrastructure.
Placements: A large number of students are placed in IT sectors, but students in the mechanical and civil department who got placement in core companies are less. Salary packages offered are good and within satisfaction. Every year 400-500 students get placement in companies while the annual intake of college is 1080. Almost 50% of students got placements.
Infrastructure: The campus is about more than 350 acres while all the academic regions are with high-speed Wi-Fi facilities. The infrastructure is not so green, and every block has well-equipped labs. Canteen is average, and computer labs are fully air-conditioned. A free medical facility is available inside the campus. In sports, all students are zonal time winners.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and are PhD holders and few of them have double or triple PhDs, but no personal care will be taken. Students have to study on their own and sometimes syllabus won't be completed. The students usually bunk classes. Teaching quality is good if classes are conducted.
Other: The university conducts many events. NSS, NCC, Manam club, Rotract, etc., are available on the campus.

I am dissatisfied because of the lack of placements.
Placements: About 10% of students did not get placement in any of the core company. Though some students placed in companies, their salary package offered by the company is quite low. Not many students got an internship in some top core companies in our batch.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure on the campus. But infrastructure in the hostel is average like crowded members in a single room, 6 members in one room. Food is average only, and the availability of water facility is not enough for students. One good thing is Wi-Fi and TV is available in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers in the Mechanical department are students friendly some are knowledgeable, and some are inexperienced. Quality of teaching is average only because some faculty members are teaching fellows and others recently entered into the teaching stream, so experience in teaching is lagging.
Other: The best thing about this course is students can get more practical knowledge.

Review of University College of Engineering, Tiruchirappalli - Anna University.
Placements: Approximately more than 75% of the students got placed every year. The lowest salary offered is about Rs. 17,000 per month. The highest salary offered is Rs. 60,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. MRF TVs and Sonalika Tractors were the top recruiting companies. The assistant engineer was the top role offered to students. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. About 80% of students got an internship in various companies.
Infrastructure: It is the best government college. TEQIP sponsored equipment. Classrooms are eco-friendly. Hostel food was immensely good. There is a health centre 24x7. It is the best college for sports students. I'm also a sportsman.
Faculty: Teaching quality and teachers were excellent. They provide a lot of practical methods to gain knowledge. We did a lot of projects oriented related to the design and development sectors. The course curriculum provides a lot of industry-based knowledge to students.
Other: I have chosen this course as I like the mechanical and automobile sectors. It is the best course in this sector and provides a lot of things. There is nothing to be improved in our course. We enjoyed and celebrated events regularly. The campus is equipped with Wi-Fi. The campus crowd is about 5000 students. They provide immense scholarship facilities to students based on the community. Sports, cultural and a lot of extracurricular activities are conducted here.

Placements opportunities were good, but they need to be improved.
Placements: For the mechanical engineering branch, more than 5 companies visited the campus for placements in 2017. Some of us got selected for MRF final round interview. Some students got placed in Sonalika Tractors, and some popular companies also visited the campus for placements. About 10% of the students got selected in campus placements.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in all buildings. Mechanical department labs were good, and the lab assistant was also very good to clear our doubts. The library environment was very good and had different kinds of books. In the hostel, food is economical and good. Health centre facilities were available every day on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers were very excited to teach us. Most of them were well qualified, and they teach the new concept with real-life examples every day. They provided extra training to develop ourselves, and also some training to increase placements.
Other: I am passionate about mechanical engineering, and without the machine, the world can't move, so I proudly chose this department. Apart from studies, they also encourage the students who are interested in sports. They conduct inter-department match every year.

I am satisfied with good Infrastructure.
Placements: There are more than 150 students in our department. Only one student got placed in Sonalika Tractors with the salary package of 4LPA. MRF, Sonalika Tractors, SPIC, etc., were the top recruiting companies. They were offering top roles and with good salary packages. The highest salary package offered was 4.44 LPA, MRF offered it. Rest of the companies offered a salary package of 4 LPA. None of the students got internships. There are only 20% Placements. Placements in our college are not good compared to other private colleges. You have to search for jobs on your own. There is a placement cell, and you can register yourself and wait for the updates. They will post about placement news and details. They will train you for better placements and provide you with good academic records.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is like our hometown. There is a main block, B-block, C-block, MBA block, civil department block, and other blocks. Classrooms with good ventilation. The infrastructure of the college is the best from the entrance. The boundary of college started from the left side at girls hostel to right side boys hostel. There is a gym available here. Wi-Fi facility is also available for students and faculty members in all blocks. Canteen is available on the college campus. The entire campus will meet at the canteen during every interval, and it is a good feeling. Hostel facilities are also good here, and you will feel free like a home. The quality of the food in the hostel is average. Sports and games are better compared to other colleges in Trichy. There are so many games you can shine. There are also national level players. The medical facility is also, and there is also a hospital available here. There are good doctor and nurses for kind service. Labs are Phenomenal. You can learn so many things from there.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly-experienced. They possess industrial exposure. Teachers will help you get placed in good companies. They are from top colleges like IIT and Anna University Chennai through distance education sometimes, and you can learn things from them. They will teach you from the basics. They make you ready for industries to work as an engineer. Our course curriculum is also relevant. They will be available whenever you have questions and problems. They are also soft. They are good teachers, but not the coaches.
Other: I preferred mechanical engineering. The best thing about this course is faculty members. They have industrial exposure. They make us industry-ready. The improvement needs in this course the syllabus should be changed as soon as possible. Then they have to provide coaching and training for placements to students. Many events like Sports event, NCC camp, cultural, annual sports event, fests are organised in a year from every department. Scholarships are available for all community students, and SC student will get Rs. 15,000 PA.
