Overview of Chemical Engineering in JNTUK.

Placements: This college has separate training and placement office and it's respective offices are very helpful as they invite various companies for the sake of hiring it's students. The placement office will follow up and provide it's for longer time until the student joins the company. Nearly 70–75% students will get placements.500000/- per annum is the average package offered. Coromandel, NFCL, DFPCL, NACL, Deccan, Reliance, and L&T were the main companies which would hire a large number of students. The department provides support in getting internships in companies like coromandel, NFCL, HPCL, and ONGC. Generally, companies will recruit students as GET.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure like a central library, smart classrooms, an auditorium, seminar halls, a playground, a dispensary, individual department buildings, and free high-speed Wi-Fi. When it comes to hostel rooms, there are 3 shared bedrooms with common bathrooms and toilets with hot water facilities and free Wi-Fi. When it comes to mess, food is good and the mess is maintained by students only so that every student can be involved in menu and the fee for the mess is also a separate dispensary with a qualified physician. The college has a big playing field where it conducts and hosts various tournaments like zonal, district, and state-level sports events. The sports department plays a big role in college.

Faculty: All teachers are experienced professors with both theoretical and industrial knowledge. They are very friendly and interactive; they provide support and guidance towards further studies and job opportunities. Sometimes they'll directly help with placement-related issues. The course curriculum is good; it provides all the basic information about industry and it's functioning. Semester examinations are not that difficult; if students follow the classes and notes of the faculty, they can get good grades. Pass percentage is nearly 80–85%..

Other: Chemical engineering provides good experience and exposure to the whole industrial world. The best thing about this course is its exposure to various industries. The required improvement in the course is that the frequency of industrial visits needs to be increased to be more effective. The college conducts various events and festivals where students can directly participate, organize and gain experience. The campus surroundings are very nice, as the campus is inside the centre of city so everything is easily available and security is also very good. The college has a separate scholarship helpline cell where it continuously provides support regarding scholarships.

Satisfactory and smooth curriculum.

Placements: Placement for our course, is based on the skills we have, to manage a plant and the basics of it. The highest package is 6.5 LPA, from L & t company. The common recruiting companies are jsw, reliance, coromandal, steel plant, l&t, nfcl etc. Also, with decent GATE score, we can secure jobs in navaratna companies like hpcl, iocl, ongc, and tata steels. Roles offered are control room manager, plant manager etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities are not so good. Infrastructure is quiet old, but manageable. Wi-Fi connection is also good, both in the college and in the hostel. Classrooms are good and comfortable. Sports activities are frequently conducted. There are fests and other cultural programs.

Faculty: Faculties in the chemical engineering department are good. They have good knowledge on our courses and laboratories. Labs are very old. Remaining all are perfect, related to curriculum. Exams are moderate to tough level.

Other: Laboratories can be improved. Not much events are provided in the college. Scholarships, honours, minors are provided, which are very useful. CGPA is much important at last.

I would not recommend joining this college.

Placements: Placements for core branches are not much good. Only 2-3 students got placed in our college with a salary package of 6 LPA. The salary package offered for the IT branch is 3.6 LPA.

Infrastructure: Hostels are below average. Wi-Fi is not good in the hostel and library. The library is good. Our classrooms are average. All facilities are below average. Our college is very good.

Faculty: Some teachers are very good. They are not passionate. They just complete the syllabus. Many teachers are not good. Semester exams are difficult.

Diamond college and it is good to study enjoy all other .

Placements: Civil engineering is best for all people are most important to that group and the people interested to study CSE also in that group the people are easy to get the jobs in the campus placement in the companies like tata hcl and others branches so all the people interest to join.

Infrastructure: Good and all the process of medical services and sports in JNTU Kakinada for every year and faculty are good evening in the ground all the facilities available in the ground and they can be teaching you how to play game And they can good manner and good faculty .

Faculty: 60 percent is the least and all people are interested to study in all the days they can be done every laboratories and in the laboratory you have any doubt the technician and faculty are available then they can help in the laboratory and you can be done the experiments.

Other: Freedom is high and we can do what you want at that time we can be fix our goals and find your future goals .
