B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2025
2.8
I'm dissatisfied with faculty, poor placements in 2025, bad infrastructure, and facilities
Placements: Out of 60 around 25 students have been placed most of them are girls. The campus placements have been very poor this time for us. L&T compared last time took around 25 students but this time they have taken only 2 girls. Packages are also very less. The highest is around 8 LPA from JSW and Reliance offered around 6 LPA least. Recruiting companies are Cognizant, TCS, etc. The package offered is around 3.5 LPA to 4 LPA. For internships around 5 students secured by companies like Apollo Tyres, Galaxy, Coromandel, etc., are some of the companies that students got placed in.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very bad. They have very old equipment which doesn't work properly. Most of the time, labs have been upgraded recently so I can say slightly improving now (computer labs and EDC labs). Classrooms are average. Wi-Fi is practically dead and doesn't work at all. The library has AC and a variety of books and also love the digital library.
Faculty: Faculty most of them are contract-based. The professors we have are very less and they visit the department very often, most of them can't complete the syllabus in time so exams are a bit difficult, and we have to study by ourselves is the best thing better not depending on the faculty. Course curriculum is also dumb if they have a subject in a particular semester they should also have the corresponding lab but no our college is different and has the lab and subject in different semesters.
Other: Can't expect much since this is a government college, fee is only Rs. 10,000 per year so worth it for students who study themselves. The good thing is that at least we have a gym and grounds to play. Events and fests are good we conduct it ourselves and we enjoy it. Faculty and department should be improved and they should also change the syllabus pattern.

All about review titles is my Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology college details.
Placements: In my college, about 70% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 32 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Accenture, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Wipro, Google, etc., visit the college to hire students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is very good and the facilities are excellent. Wi-Fi and labs are available in all departments. The library is also available in our course. The hostel facilities are very good. The food is fantastic. Medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: In our college, faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not difficult in the college. The pass percentage is nearly 70%.
Other: I am interested in the IT side, so I decided to join our course at our college. Events are conducted every month and fests are conducted yearly once. The campus crowd is very high. Scholarships are directly credited to college management.

B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2024

Absolutely a good college for engineering.
Placements: The placements for core are very few but core students can also get placed in other fields. The highest package obtained by a student here is about 50 LPA. The companies that mostly recruit in our college are Larsen and Toubro, NTPC and various other companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is excellent and facilities are good in our college provided by college management. There are many courses and departments in our college. They provide a hostel facility with healthy food present in the mess and canteen. They encourage sports like cricket, volleyball etc.
Faculty: The teachers are the best thing in this college. They have high experience and are friendly to the students. They are helpful to students, and the course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The difficult of semesters is tough, and the pass percentage is above 80%.

Completely dissatisfied because of the teaching methods.
Placements: 60% of students get placed. Most students opt for software. But then there are a few companies, like L&T and Moschip, that hire in the core sector. The starting package is 9 to 12 LPA. An internship is our choice. We can do it in some power plants, PSU's like BHEL, NTPC, etc. We can also do software internships.
Infrastructure: Electrical labs are not so well equipped. All the electrical equipment is very old. Many don't work well. Electronic labs are well-equipped. We don't have proper washroom facilities in the department for both boys and girls, especially since it's very problematic for girls. Girls hostels are the worst. No good food, the worst washrooms, no cleanliness. There is no continuous water facility. Power goes off every now and then.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. But we can't expect anyone to teach. Classes are irregular. Strict labs. We don't get any information from the classes. We must depend on the library. That's the only source. Every semester is tough and challenging. Professors just read the PowerPoints. And not even explain them.
Other: I chose this because I was interested in electronics. Teaching methods can be improved. There's no college life. because we'll be so busy writing our records and observations. There are 'a number of rules that you have to follow, especially in this branch. I really don't know why labs are so strict. You have to follow everything said by the teachers. That doesn't make sense.

A beautiful journey of college.
Placements: A maximum of 60 members were placed in my course. The highest package offered was 10 lacs, the lowest package was 2.5 lacs, and the average package was 5 lacs. The top recruiting companies for electrical engineering were Google, LG, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Samsung, Centrix, Amazon, and so on. The percentage of students who got internships from my course was 70%, with Tech Mahindra having the highest percentile and Concentrix having the lowest percentile. The top roles offered in my course were engineer, sub-engineer, assistant engineer, coordinator, and system administrator.
Infrastructure: There were a lot of facilities provided by my company; they include good ventilation, good lighting, fans, and quality drinking water with high-security CCTV cameras. The infrastructure available for my course also includes a wi-fi facility, well-equipped labs, well-organized classrooms with high security, and a well-designed library with a wide variety of books. The quality of the facilities in my hostel was appreciable and they also provided good food with a lot of varieties in the canteen. The hospitality facility was also good with all arrangements and there were a wide variety of sports to play in our leisure time.
Faculty: Teachers were really helpful, highly qualified and knowledgeable enough to provide suggestions and clear doubts. Their quality of teaching was highly appreciable. My course is curriculum-relevant and the classes were done according to that curriculum. The standards were really helpful to students to get ready for industry experience. The difficulty of the semester exams ranges from moderate to difficult. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: I was highly interested in doing electrical engineering because I always wanted to become an engineer. The best thing about the course is that it is very interesting and challenging. Nothing was perfect. When it comes to events, fests, campus crowds, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, and extracurricular activities, my college frequently conducts all these events during special occasions.

Good campus for self growth and experience with good campus placements.
Placements: I am currently studying at this college. The reports that we get from our seniors presently at our college are very good. They are getting placed in companies like LNT and JSW. Also ZF technologies, Moschip, Medha, etc. are the top recruiters The average package is about 4 LPAs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good in terms of basic facilities. Fans, chairs, AC in seminar halls, and washrooms are okay but need to be taken care of a bit more. Labs are very good with nice machines and equipment. The hostel food is very comfortable.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. All are very experienced. Teachers have seen many batches pass out and tell us all their experiences. The semester exams are up to the standard and teachers help us learn them by ourselves. The course curriculum is relevant.
Other: The course has good scope in government jobs. Events and fiestas are conducted well.

Fairly good placements in 2024 in our college, even though the software sector is in recession.
Placements: The placements in our college are pretty good since already 40% of our class is placed and there are still 4 months left to complete B.Tech. I am sure that everyone in our batch will get placed. The highest and lowest packages offered are 10 LPA and 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our college are L&T and Medha Servo Motors. Nearly 50% of students have internship in companies like Schiender, Moschip, etc. The roles offered in our course are mainly GET in core companies and software analyst in software companies.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available are average. Wi-Fi works most of the time and a few SIM cards, such as Airtel, do not work at all. Classrooms and libraries are neatly maintained and can be accessed at any time. The facilities in the hostel are good, except for a few power cuts. The food provided is very reasonable for its cost and above-average in taste. Sports and games are conducted all the time and we have a big stadium to learn any kind of sport.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable; they will clarify all kinds of doubts if we go and ask them. Even though the teaching quality is good, its always best to learn the topics ourselves on YouTube. The course curriculum is relevant but lacks the few industrial application labs required, which we need to learn online. The semester exams are fairly difficult but we score good marks by starting reading before the end of the month. The pass percentage is 40%, which makes it easy to get good grades.
Other: The course overall is interesting and very good to learn. The labs might be a bit intimidating and consume most of our time, so we need to plan our time accordingly. I wish the teachers would explain more problems than theory in the classes. The events, fests, and people around us are all great and we will enjoy ourselves so much during our stay here.

Jntu -a good but not that good place .
Placements: Only 50 percent of students were placed. The highest package is 6 LPA. L&T, Medha, and Moschip are the top recruiting companies in our course. We were still in 4-1, so we will do an internship in 4-2 (in the coming days). The top roles were probably on the technical side.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good. We probably get Wi-Fi everywhere like hostels, gyms, labs, classrooms, etc. The labs were not that organized. Classrooms were good and sometimes clean. The library is most beautiful place in our campus but timing disappoints us The quality of the hostel is too bad.
Faculty: The teachers were never good at teaching. We get no knowledge from classes. The teaching quality is too bad. The course curriculum is also not that good because they teach us more about CSE than EEE. The semesters are so difficult when compared to other colleges. Pass percent of our class is 98 percent.
