- The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/MTech courses will be conducted from Feb 7, 2026 to Feb 8, 2026, and then from Feb 14, 2026 to Feb 15, 2026.

University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering is a public college in Bangalore. It is also known as UVCE. It was established in 1917 by Bharat Ratna Sir M Visvesvaraya. The government college offers BArch and six engineering courses. These are offered in specialisations like Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, Information Science and Civil Engineering. It is accredited with Grade ‘A’ by NAAC. Affiliated to Bangalore University, it comprises two campuses:
- KR Circle Campus: It comprises the department of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering.
- Jnanabharathi Campus: It comprises the department of Civil Engineering and Architecture
UVCE has state-of-the-art infrastructure, qualified faculty, hotel facilities, and a library. It has a cooperative society to meet the stationery needs of students and staff.
