A strong infrastructure, placements, and supportive faculty members - A worthwhile CCSE at VRSEC.

Placements: For the 2021 to 2025 batch at VRSEC Vijayawada, 81.12% of graduates secured job placements. The highest package reached 44 LPA, and average salary is around 5 LPA. Top recruiting includes Infosys, IBM, Deloitte, NTT Data, Virtusa, Capgemini, Amazon, Cisco, Microsoft, TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, and PayPal. For internships, about 40-50 % of students received offer letters. The primary roles are associate/advanced senior, data analyst, etc.

Infrastructure: Hostels (725 = capacity both boys and girls) single/double groomed attached toilets, study lamps, laundry, 24X7 power backup, reading areas, wired Wi-Fi via 40 Cisco access points. The mess canteen serves both veg and non-veg. The 24-acre campus offers high-speed Wi-Fi across all zones.

Faculty: Faculty members are mostly qualified, supportive, and accessible with many holding Ph.Ds and industry backgrounds (including NIT and IIT training). The curriculum is industry-aligned. Semester exams are moderately tough, updated regularly with input from experts and include hands-on experience.

Review of our college Siddhartha.

Placements: The placement scenario for my batch (2025) in the information technology department is quite promising. Around 80-85% of the students are successfully placed by the end of the final semester. The average package hovered around 6.8 LPA which is decent for a tier-2 college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for information technology is quite decent and improving each year. All classrooms are equipped with projectors, whiteboards, and proper ventilation. The department has access to Wi-Fi, although the speed could fluctuate at times. The computer labs are fairly modern with up-to-date systems and reliable internet connectivity.

Faculty: Faculty members in the information technology department are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most professors hold M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees, and a few have industry experience as well. They are approachable during college hours and even after classes, especially when it comes to doubt-clearing and project guidance.

Other: I chose information technology because of my interest in programming, data structures, and understanding how software systems work in real-world applications. The course provided a good balance between core computer science subjects and applied IT topics, such as web development, database systems, and cloud computing.

Placements: We had very good placements here. So many big companies came to our college to offer high-paid salaries for students. So many students got jobs on our campus. Maximum 90% of the students got jobs here. So many companies came to our college.

Infrastructure: Here, we had very good infrastructure. We had full book stock library with central AC and digital library for students. Hostel was very nice, and weekly four times chicken and evening snacks were very superb. In hostel night mood was very nice. Night time walking on campus was so beautiful.

Faculty: We had the best faculty members here and they were very friendly to us. They conduct classes very nicely, and the explanation was super. Our dean conducted exams very strictly.

Other: We had weekly 3 to 4 events. Seniors were conducting the events. We also joined in the events and participated.

Great placements and solid infrastructure, with scope for more industry exposure.

Placements: Around 90% of students get placed in our course. The highest package offered is 52 LPA, the average package is around 7 LPA, and the lowest package is around 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies include Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Cognizant, and Capgemini. About 50% of students get internships through the college. Internships offers come from companies like TCS, Virtusa, Infosys, Hexaware, and Deloitte. Overall, the placement training and support from the college are really good.

Infrastructure: Our department has well-equipped computer labs with updated systems and good internet connectivity. Wi-Fi facility is available across the campus. Classrooms are spacious and have smart boards, and the library is well-stocked with technical books, journals, and access to digital resources like NPTEL and IEEE. The campus is clean and green, with good overall maintenance. The hostel facilities, hostels are decent, with basic furniture and a 24/7 water and electricity supply. Wi-Fi facility is available, but the speed varies at times. The mess food is average and manageable, but repetitive. The canteen food is better, with a decent variety and quality.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, especially in core subjects. The curriculum is industry-relevant, with regular updates and practical exposure through labs and projects. The semester exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is around 85-90% with proper preparation.

Other: I chose CSE for its career scope and my interest in coding. The course has good faculty, strong placements, and hands-on labs. More industry-focused projects and workshops would improve it. Campus fests, clubs, and a friendly crowd make college life vibrant.

Placements: 85% of students are placed in our college, with an average package of 5 LPA. The highest package is 50 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA, as per my knowledge. Companies that come for the placement drive are Cisco, Amazon, Google, etc. More software companies which are once a startup in earlier days.

Faculty: The curriculum pattern has changed now, as Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College has turned into Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education, which is a deemed-to-be university. There are blunders in programme but as it is in the initial stage it will develop soon. Faculty members are friendly, kind towards students. They are hardworking and smart. There are also faculty members who are interested in everything. They just go read from the PPTs alone and no kind of use for students from such types of both classes and faculty. Management needs to check that.

Other: Events are very less, but trust me, you will enjoy some of your days here when you have good latest here.
