VRSEC review.
Placements: The placement record is normal. Most of the students get moderate packages all year. There is no highest or lowest package here. The average package is somewhere between 5 LPA to 6 LPA. Mostly, IT companies come for the placement here. Students may get core jobs or may not get them. The internship programme is available, but it is not very active.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi system is provided from the 2nd year. The computer labs have sufficient desktops for all the students. The classrooms are now getting A/c facilities. The library is not so crowded. The facilities satisfy the hostel students, and the quality of food provided here is okay. The college does not have proper sports facilities, but the medical part is smooth.
Faculty: The teachers are highly educated. All the teachers are very supportive. The teaching quality of teachers depends on the subjects that you study. The course is a little old-fashioned, but very soon they are going to revise it. The semester exams are a bit tricky if you do not follow the teacher's guidance. The pass percentage is above 86 percent.
Other: The best that can be done is shifting to digital classrooms instead of whiteboards or greenboards.

A strong infrastructure, placements, and supportive faculty members - A worthwhile CCSE at VRSEC.
Placements: For the 2021 to 2025 batch at VRSEC Vijayawada, 81.12% of graduates secured job placements. The highest package reached 44 LPA, and average salary is around 5 LPA. Top recruiting includes Infosys, IBM, Deloitte, NTT Data, Virtusa, Capgemini, Amazon, Cisco, Microsoft, TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, and PayPal. For internships, about 40-50 % of students received offer letters. The primary roles are associate/advanced senior, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Hostels (725 = capacity both boys and girls) single/double groomed attached toilets, study lamps, laundry, 24X7 power backup, reading areas, wired Wi-Fi via 40 Cisco access points. The mess canteen serves both veg and non-veg. The 24-acre campus offers high-speed Wi-Fi across all zones.
Faculty: Faculty members are mostly qualified, supportive, and accessible with many holding Ph.Ds and industry backgrounds (including NIT and IIT training). The curriculum is industry-aligned. Semester exams are moderately tough, updated regularly with input from experts and include hands-on experience.
Other: NSS, NCC, yoga, dance, music, freshers, and fests are held for 3-4 months. It has a vibrant social environment.

Review of our college Siddhartha.
Placements: The placement scenario for my batch (2025) in the information technology department is quite promising. Around 80-85% of the students are successfully placed by the end of the final semester. The average package hovered around 6.8 LPA which is decent for a tier-2 college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for information technology is quite decent and improving each year. All classrooms are equipped with projectors, whiteboards, and proper ventilation. The department has access to Wi-Fi, although the speed could fluctuate at times. The computer labs are fairly modern with up-to-date systems and reliable internet connectivity.
Faculty: Faculty members in the information technology department are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most professors hold M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees, and a few have industry experience as well. They are approachable during college hours and even after classes, especially when it comes to doubt-clearing and project guidance.
Other: I chose information technology because of my interest in programming, data structures, and understanding how software systems work in real-world applications. The course provided a good balance between core computer science subjects and applied IT topics, such as web development, database systems, and cloud computing.

Great placements and solid infrastructure, with scope for more industry exposure.
Placements: Around 90 percent of students get placed in our course. The highest package offered is 52 LPA, the average package is around 7 LPA and the lowest package is around 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies include Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Cognizant and Capgemini. About 50 percent of students get internships through the college. Internships offers come from companies like TCS, Virtusa, Infosys, Hexaware and Deloitte. Overall, the placement training and support from the college are really good.
Infrastructure: Our department has well-equipped computer labs with updated systems and good internet connectivity. Wi-Fi facility is available across the campus. Classrooms are spacious and have smart boards and the library is well-stocked with technical books, journals, and access to digital resources like NPTEL and IEEE. The campus is clean and green with good overall maintenance. The hostel facilities, hostels are decent, with basic furniture and a 24/7 water and electricity supply. Wi-Fi facility is available but the speed varies at times. The mess food is average and manageable but repetitive. The canteen food is better with a decent variety and quality.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable especially in core subjects. The curriculum is industry-relevant with regular updates and practical exposure through labs and projects. The semester exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is around 85-90 with proper preparation.
Other: I chose CSE for its career scope and my interest in coding. The course has good faculty, strong placements, and hands-on labs. More industry-focused projects and workshops would improve it. Campus fests, clubs, and a friendly crowd make college life vibrant.

Good placements, supportive faculty members, and peaceful environment.
Placements: 95% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 52.6 LPA and the average package is 4.5 LPA. The least is 3 LPA. Recruiting companies are Amazon, Cisco, Wipro, TCS, Deloitte, HSBC, PWC, and Flipkart. Almost all students who have good skills got internships. Roles offered are solution architect, quality analyst, developed, etc.
Infrastructure: Department facilities are good. Classrooms and labs are provided with Wi-Fi and AC. Our college has central library where we can get any books. Coming to college, food is good. Medical facilities are available. Every Wednesday the doctor comes. We can play outdoor games as the ground is available.
Faculty: Faculty members are very qualified. They support us and guide us in every aspect. Course curriculum is relevant. We can get ready for industrial placements. Exams are in range so that we can pass, but the matter here is we have to study. The highest CGPA may be 9.8.
Other: Supragna annual fest is conducted every year in February month.
