Absolutely satisfied with the good library, teachers, and best practicals.
Placements: 75 percent of students are placed. 7 LPA is the highest package, 4 LPA is the lowest, and 5 LPA is the average package. Suguna, Venkatesh chicken, ambulance, dairy industries, Aavin, etc. are the top recruiters. 100 percent of students got internships. Doctors, clinicians, veterinarians, etc., are the top roles offered. In the internship, we got around an 11k stipend, which is less.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure with libraries around 10,000 books are available in our college library. The hostel was good with food and the mess bill is high due to extra but it is manageable. I like our hostel and the warden is good and friendly. He is a gem and Dean is the best.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are more friendly and they teach us very well. Yes, curriculum is relevant to our studies and many industries are present. Exams are not difficult but time is less for studying. But nowadays it's easy to study; they gave more time to study and in between there is a holiday.
Other: Many practical things are present. Stress-free campus.

It has an excellent infrastructure and provides good lab facilities.
Placements: Almost 90% of students get placed in government or private jobs with satisfying salary packages. The most common jobs are veterinary assistant surgeons and jobs in Aavin, poultry industries, feed industries, pharmaceutical companies, etc. Many students are placed in union and state public service.
Infrastructure: It has well-equipped laboratories. It has five gallery-type lecture halls and a library with many books. There are separate grounds for cricket and football. There are facilities for volleyball, Kho-Kho, badminton, shuttle, and table tennis. Hostels available for boys and girls are congested. There are separate mess facilities. There is a teaching veterinary clinical complex to expose students to clinical cases.
Faculty: All faculty members are qualified professionals with Ph.D. and impart practical knowledge to students so that they can shine well. Exams are moderate and the pass percentage is more than 95. The curriculum followed is provided by Veterinary Council of India.
Other: Scholarships are provided to students who are eligible.

The course provided are good but, situated in rural area, you can get only limited facilities.
Placements: There is no placement within the campus. But there are many job opportunities outside. You can write government exams for veterinary assistance service after completing UG and if you clear it, you can get a government job at the age of 24. So you can take the course BVSC & AH wholeheartedly.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college and hostel both are good but the hostel maintenance is poor. The quality of the food is not so poor. Somedays, the food may not be good but most of the days, the food is good. Non-vegetarian food is provided every day. The mess charge is high around Rs.5000 per month.
Faculty: In our college, we have well-experienced professors who are friendly with students. Most of the staff members studied at MVSC. They are good at teaching tough topics clearly. You cannot expect every staff to be friendly. Some of them are strict. So you have to adjust with the course teachers.

Review of Veterinary College & Research Institute, Tirunelveli.
Placements: Around 80% of the students are placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 7 LPA. The average salary package offered is 12 LPA. Top recruitment companies for our course are poultry industries, bio-sys department, various NGOs, and dairy farms. Around 70% of the students got internships. Top roles are offered in dairy farms.
Infrastructure: There are separate departments for each subject and unit. Classrooms are also separated for each graduating year. There is a good ventilated library with various types of books available. About hostels, there are separate buildings for boys and girls, good toilets and bathrooms. In each room has 1 fan and two almeras for clothes, and personal things. For sports, all types of game grounds are provided.
Faculty: All the teachers are graduated from top colleges, and even they can speak multi-languages. They help us at each step. The course curriculum is relevant, and they teach us about that how to build up our industries. Exams held have moderate questions, and you need not worry.
Other: I opted for this course because my friends suggested me this course as it has various opportunities in future. Best things about our course is that you don't have to wait for government jobs. We can start own private clinics or practices. Also these things improves us. Events are organised after the second semester of each year. There is no much crowd because ecah year has own separate department. Scholarships are available for VCI students they provide Rs. 36,000 per year and for Tamil Nadu students they give Rs.15,000.

Q:   What are the requirements to pursue a career in Veterinary courses after completing BTech in Computer Science and Engineering?
A:

The BTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering is pretty different from pursuing a career in Veterinary Science. So, it will sort of be a career and educational shift. The following are the steps you may take:

  • Do the Needed Coursework: Enroll in and complete the minimum required undergraduate coursework in basic sciences, like biology and chemistry, which are essential in admission to most veterinary schools.
  • Get Veterinary Experience: Try to gain some veterinary work experience.
  • Study for Entrance Exams: Most veterinary schools require candidates to take an entrance exam.
  • Get into Veterinary School: If accepted, complete the degree. The degree would include coursework, clinical rotations, and practical experience in veterinary medicine.
  • Get Licensed: After obtaining the DVM degree, you will have to get licensed by passing the Veterinary Licensing Examination in the country or state where you wish to practice.
