Great placements, good infrastructure and faculty, and an exciting campus life.

Placements: I am currently studying B.Tech AI at VJIT (Batch 2023-2027). In the previous batch, around 85 percent of students were placed. The highest package is 12 LPA. The lowest is 3.5 LPA. The average is 5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Cognizant and Accenture. Around 70 percent of students secured internships in companies like Amazon, Wipro and Deloitte. Top roles offered are software engineer, data analyst, AI engineer and cloud developer. The placement cell is supportive ensuring good opportunities for students.

Infrastructure: VJIT provides well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, a digital library and modern AI labs for our course. The hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms, 24/7 water supply, and good security. The mess food is average, but the canteen offers better options. Medical facilities are available, and the campus has sports grounds for cricket, football, and badminton.

Faculty: The faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, with many holding PhDs and industry experience. The curriculum is well-structured and covers AI, ML, and data science, making students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, with s pass percentage of around 85%. Regular internships and projects help in practical learning.

Other: I chose AI because of its future scope and industry demand. The best part of the course is the practical exposure through hackathons and real-world projects. However, more industry collaborations and guest lectures could improve the course. The campus has vibrant clubs for coding, robotics, music and dance.

Review: Academics, faculty, and life at Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology.

Placements: There is no fixed percentage of students placed, it depends on the student's performance in academics. If they maintain a good CGPA, they offer you a job package with a decent salary. However, as per records, the placement percentage for the AI department is 96.6 percent. The salary packages range from around 1 LPA - 12 LPA. Some top companies that recruit are Cisco, Capgemini, Infosys, TCS, Larsen & Toubro and many more.

Infrastructure: There are dedicated labs for every department making it easier for students to access them. The labs are well-maintained, and systems are connected to a dedicated internet service, ensuring a smoother lab experience.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable in the subjects they teach. It was really good to study under their guidance. The course curriculum varies for each course and is very relevant, which helps in gaining knowledge. The semester exam pattern can vary, it may be difficult, not too easy, but generally neutral.

College was quite good, consisting of minimum equipment.

Placements: The pass-out percentage was 90%, which was quite good. Package offers by the company were 2-3 LPA, and the highest package was 10 LPA. Our course was most asked by the companies. Top companies recruited were Infosys. Internships offered by the companies were very less in percentage.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was very good. The equipment was sufficient enough for each and every person. Equipment quality and quantity were good in utility. The library and classrooms were monitored by faculty, and books were easily available to each and every person through the library card system, which helped us take books with us.

Faculty: Faculty present in the college were highly qualified and knowledgeable. The way of teaching was quite different from normal teaching, and we could understand the subject easily through the practical examples given by the faculty. The lecturers were doctorate holders in many fields.

Other: The course chosen was good in requirement in the present software fields. Events and campus recruitment were quite heavy and competitive. Scholarships were actively provided by the government. The college promoted many activities like art, singing, dance, and more.

Good infrastructure, overall a good tier-3 college.

Placements: According to the states, around 96.6% of the students from the department of artificial intelligence were placed, with the highest package being 12 lpa and the average package being 4.8 lpa. The lowest salary offered was 3.6 LPA. Prominent recruiters are Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, UST Global, etc., for the roles of software developer.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-maintained with proper lighting and ventilation. The labs have Wi-Fi and internet connectivity and are air-conditioned. The library has a lot of useful books for all the branches and has a good seating area for working on personal projects and more. There is a canteen and a cafeteria, both serving good quality food. We also have a sports complex for indoor games like carrom, table tennis, etc., and a gym if you want to work out.

Faculty: There are a few really knowledgeable teachers and are qualified to teach the syllabus and can be really helpful. The curriculum is constantly updating and getting better year by year, adjusting to the industrial standards. The semester exams are also moderate and can get a good percentage if efforts are made.

Other: The events and fests conducted in the college are really good, and you'll enjoy a lot if you participate in either organizing or performing.

Supportive faculty, industry-relevant curriculum, and excellent campus facilities.

Placements: 90 percent of students were placed in my course. The lowest package is 3 LPA, the average is 5 LPA, and the highest is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are ADP, Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, Cisco, etc. 70-80 percent of students got internships in my course at various startups and top companies.

Infrastructure: The department offers high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the building. The classrooms are spacious, equipped with projectors, and well-ventilated. Separate labs for every department. The library has an extensive collection of books, journals, and research papers. Hostel facilities are available only for girls.

Faculty: Teachers are approachable and supportive, highly qualified, and have industry experience. They prepare students through internships, projects, and real-world applications. Exams are moderately challenging, testing both theory and practical skills. The pass percentage is 80-90.

Other: The college is surrounded by greenery.

Excellent infrastructure and the past placements success is marked by satisfactory faculty in AI.

Placements: Our college students were placed in Cognizant, Cisco, Infosys, Accenture, Byjus and many other top MNCs. The highest package offered is 18 LPA and the lowest package offered in my course is 6 LPA. Every student can easily get an internship through this course. The top roles offered in my course are in AI engineering, machines learning, data y, NLP specials, etc.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is quite decent, it's spread across 10 acres having a big playground. The infrastructure of the classrooms and labs is neatly designed and well maintained. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled and the food in the canteen compromises on hygiene.

Faculty: Some teachers are very good, they treat us well and their way of teaching is very good, while the other faculty doesn't even know proper English or grammar but they do have the concept, so it would be better if they explained in their own language in which they are comfortable. The semester exams are easy, you can easily pass even if you study the night before.

Other: Events are too disciplined, they even separate boys and girls during the events, what's the use of conducting events then. The college’s games and sports are good, they even conduct annual sports meet every year.

Really good facilities, infrastructure, and placements.

Placements: Nearly 70-80 percent of students were placed in artificial intelligence. The highest package offered in my course is 15 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA, with an average package of 10 LPA. 80-90 percent of students got internships in many companies like Cognizant, TCS, WIPRO, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my department are very good. There are advanced technology computers in laboratories. Every computer is connected to the fastest internet through Wi-Fi. Every classroom consists of a projector for digital classes. However, there is no availability of college hostel.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful in every aspect, and they work with the students to guide them in their projects. Teachers in our department have good knowledge, and the teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The pass percentage in semesters is 70-80 percent.

Other: The main reason to choose this branch is nowadays AI is becoming the future. The college management conducts events and fests every semester. Extracurricular activities are also encouraged.

An average engineering college.

Placements: 15%–20% of students get placed. The highest package is 15 lacs, and the average package is around 3.5 lacs. IBM, TCS, Infosys, and Accenture are the top recruiting companies. Through hackathons and Tech events, who performed well, internship opportunities are provided by the college.

Infrastructure: The hostel is under construction. The campus is around 20 to 30 acres. The labs are fully equipped with LAN. There is one central library and two small libraries. All academic books are available. Private hostels are available within a 500-meter radius. But mess is not that good.

Faculty: The faculty are well qualified, helpful and very knowledgeable. But lab incharge's are not up to the mark. The curriculum is relevant to the course. Yes, students are industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate. 80% is the pass percentage.

Other: Random I applied for this course through TS EAMCET counseling. Every year, an annual day is celebrated. Two days of inter-college fests are organized. Good environment around college. Full fee reimbursement for students of the SC and ST castes who studied in government schools.
