Scope of getting a placement is good, but the teaching faculty and syllabus could be much better.

Placements: There are a total of 38 students in our department. Recently, there was an interview hosted by a couple of companies regarding our placements. Few of the companies were TCS, Microsoft and Wipro. Those who were selected, were told by the company that they'll be under training for a year and will be paid something around 15k to 16k.

Infrastructure: Our entire college has Wi-Fi facility. We have classrooms and two laboratory rooms, one for software practicals and the other for hardware practicals. In library, we have a separate section where all the books related to computer science are kept. We do not have a college hostel.

Faculty: The professors are neither too bad, nor too extraordinary. We are provided the minimum guidance we need but we have to take separate tuition classes for proper grasp of knowledge on the subject. We have heard that the teachers who were here before we joined the college were rather helpful. However, since we joined and some of the professor left, it has been this way. This course in a bit out of date. The syllabus could easily be changed and made into something more relevant.

Other: Computer has been fascinating to me since childhood and thus I have taken this as course in college. More than the hardware practicals, I am more interested in the software practicals. I would hope that they change the syllabus and bring the new software into curriculum rather that the out of date versions. We have our own college fest and each department has their own farewell and fresher's parties. The campus is hygienic and well maintained. Our college also organises sports every year and participates in other college's fest events.
