Overall, it is satisfying and decent.

Placements: Our college's placement is decent. Every year, a job fair is conducted. About 65% of students from my course get placed. The recruiting companies are well-known, like TCS, Wipro, etc. About 100% of students in my course get internships at these companies.

Infrastructure: Our lab is superb, and all instruments are available. We also have a research lab. We can access the lab at any time. Free Wi-Fi is provided. Classrooms are clean, and we have a library with a huge collection of 30,000 books. Our college has no hostel, which is a drawback. Our canteen is good. The quality food is available. Calcutta Medical College and Hospital is nearby for medical facilities. Annual sports are also conducted in our college.

Faculty: Faculty members and curriculum management are excellent beyond doubt. All professors are friendly, helpful, and very humble. They are all NET-qualified. Their teaching quality is outstanding. Extra classes are arranged during Puja and summer vacation. Remedial classes are also conducted so that we can prepare for the semester exams.

Other: I chose this course because it is my favorite, and I always want to do something with this subject. The best thing about this subject is that it never makes you regret it.

One of the best colleges in Kolkata. You can take admission here.

Placements: As per the stat of some previous years, there has been no placement in this department. And I think the students who studied for B.Sc. Physics (H) didn't get any placement or any type of internship. No companies come in here to recruit. But at the end of the last year, there have a test if you clear the cut off then some colleges hire the students as a lecturer in any engineering or normal colleges.

Infrastructure: In this college, there has Wi-Fi below the department of Physics. The classrooms are moderate but the lab is not so good. The machines and apparatus are not working properly. There has a canteen on the ground floor the food quality is not bad. Medical facilities are also good.

Faculty: Some of the teachers are so helpful but some are not. I think the recent HOD's conversation skill is not as good as other teachers but he is initial. And he goodly manages the entire system in this department. In this department, there have two IITs.

Other: This college is not so bad. Some people think that this is a traditional college and you will also think about this if you admit in here. The architecture is pretty good. Once you enter here you will feel the emotion of Bengalis. Every year the students union organizes a fest in Nazrul manch. But in this college the office staff is not good they did some misbehaving and harassment during the scholarship with our 1st-year batches. This college built the very beginning of the education system in India as well as Kolkata. Vidyasagar built this college and it is still one of the famous colleges in Kolkata.

Faculty members are very good, but the infrastructure is very poor.

Placements: There is no such placement for B.Sc physics students. You must complete your M.Sc or other courses from a reputed institution to opt for good placements. Our college doesn't provide any liability for placements. On-campus placements are not held by the college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not that great, and it is like average to below average. Many important instruments for practical courses are not available in the laboratory. Still, the condition of instruments which are available is quite good. The hostel is not provided by the college, but there are many PGs near the college area. There are free Wi-Fi services by Jio inside the campus.

Faculty: All the professors are helpful and knowledgeable. Due to poor infrastructure and many holidays, professors can't teach more in the college. The course curriculum of Calcutta University is decent. Still, this college has some good alumni, so some seminars are held quite frequently.

It is one of the best colleges under Calcutta University.

Placements: Our college is under Calcutta University. There are no placements in this college because it a government college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not bad. Labs and classrooms are very big and comfortable. There are many hostels beside our college. The canteen is also available. Our college organised different types of sports, like cricket and football. Our college organises many cultural programmes like singing, dancing, debate, etc.

Faculty: All the professors of all departments are very helpful, qualified and well-knowledgeable. Different types of webinars are organised, and it helps students to study in their subjects deeply. They can participate in many national level competitions and get awards. Course faculty members are very good. All course classes are taken efficiently by professors. In this pandemic situation, they also help us through online mode.

Other: Physics is one of my most favourite subjects, so I have chosen this subject and studying under graduation.

Good faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: There are no placement opportunities in case of physics, but some placements are available for the students of computer science. But the placements are low compared to the total number of students. As far as I know, TCS visits the college every year and recruits 1 or 2 students.

Infrastructure: I think the lab of this college is quite great. In case of the physics department, there are many instruments which give you the experimental result accurately. There is a departmental library in each department which helps us a lot. There are many indoors games to play in the union room.

Faculty: There are some faculty members with very good teaching quality, but there are also faculty members who don't have any idea of teaching. The faculty to student ratio is too less. There is no industry exposure provided the college. There is no spoonfeeding done in the college.

Other: Each department organises freshers party for the juniors, and they again have a college union freshers every year.
