The worst and scam college (VBIT).
Placements: Around 5% of students get placed in the Cyber Security department. The highest package among them is 10 LPA, and the lowest is around Rs. 30,000. I do not know the top recruiting companies from our course.
Infrastructure: It is very important to maintain labs for students because, in our college, laptops are not suggested like in other colleges. Labs are used instead. However, labs have computers of poor quality that do not work properly. I do not know about hostels because I am a day scholar.
Faculty: Teachers are not good enough to solve students' doubts. They mostly teach using files created by AI on projectors. There is no practical guidance. The semester question papers are moderate and sometimes easy. However, after writing exams, some students fail in difficult subjects like Mathematics and Engineering Graphics. Supplementary exam question papers are made more difficult, which affects students. In this college, it is difficult for students to depend only on college lectures because the environment is not good and the teaching staff is not professionally trained.
Other: Honestly, I did not choose this course in the first place, but I got a seat in this department through counselling. I cannot answer much about this course because I do not know everything about it. Events are rarely conducted in our college. Campus surroundings are average. Scholarships are available, but there are no extracurricular activities in this college.

Overall review is good, only dissatisfied with the faculty.
Placements: Placements from my course are average, and internship opportunities are also average. Most of the companies visiting our college are service-based. The top recruiters are Infosys, TCS, and Accenture. The average package offered in college is 4 LPA. Skill Forge Company has recruited many students, over 100+ students last year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, every branch has its own block and labs are well equipped, classrooms are also well maintained, and projectors are available. The library is well maintained, you can find various books related to your course, exams, and even competitive exams, and Wi-Fi is provided there.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are less knowledgeable, only a few are well-trained and communicate. The exams are well scheduled, and the difficulty level of the semester exam is medium. Few teachers are very helpful and supportive, while others are less trained and poor in communication and teaching.
Other: In my course, both theory and practical knowledge are balanced. Events are also conducted with several clubs associated to organise them, and many other activities are held, such as sports clubs and cultural activities.

I'm absolutely satisfied with the campus infrastructure, and my faculty is talented.
Placements: The highest package from my college is 24 LPA and the average package is 6-8 LPA. The amount of students getting placed from my college has been increasing yearly for the past 5 years. 70% of students get placed.
Infrastructure: All the facilities and infrastructure of my college are good. However, the internet connection is low sometimes. Classrooms are quite spacious, and we have projectors in every classroom. The quality of the hostel and food is also good. The canteen has a fresh juice point, and the library has a wide variety of books.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. I also find them amiable. They are also available after college hours if we have any doubts. Semester exams are not so tough, but the invigilation is strict. The course curriculum is relevant to the course we opted for.
Other: I chose Cybersecurity because I have been interested in ethical hacking for the past few years. The thing I wish would be better is having more fests. Our campus is filled with greenery, which is peaceful.

It is a good college because of faculty and placements.
Placements: We have 100% placements in our college. There are many good placements. The highest salary of my course is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 6 LPA. The average package is 9 LPA. The companies recruiting for my course are Infosys, Tata, etc.
Infrastructure: The ground is very spacious, and the canteen is also very good. Classrooms are very spacious, not more than 70 people will be in the class. Teachers are very friendly towards students, the food in the canteen is very good and cost-effective. The hostel food is also very good, especially Sunday biryani.
Faculty: All teachers are educated, the syllabus is very good, and semester exams are not too hard. We can pass the exams by just listening to classes and writing assignments. Exams will improve your learning, and writing records will also help you a lot, as well as the observations we write in our labs.
Other: Clubs, workshops, and events are only organized once a year.

The college is good enough for studying.
Placements: Currently, there are no placements happening in the cybersecurity domain, where the average package is about 3.5 LPA and the highest package so far is 15 LPA, with recruiting companies changing very frequently. At VBIT college, cybersecurity is the best course and department to study, with around 40% of students securing internships. The top roles offered in this course include VAPT, SOC, forensics, tester, and secure development, all of which recruit freshers as juniors or assistants.
Infrastructure: Basic facilities are provided well. Wi-Fi is enabled throughout the entire campus, and the labs are average. I would say there is no dedicated and supported cybersecurity lab, they are managing with normal labs. Classrooms and the library are good, and every class is equipped with a projector. The sports facilities are good and supportive. The college hostel is very good, clean, and neat, and their food is honestly homely and tasty.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and all the faculty are well-qualified and knowledgeable, so the teaching quality is good. Since the course curriculum is made by JNTU, it doesn’t make students industry-ready. The semester exams are a bit strict, with a pass percentage of 80%.
Other: I chose cybersecurity because I am interested, and in this college, it is the best department. The course could be improved by adding more practical approaches and aspects. As for extracurriculars, sports are well-performed. The college has 30 to 35 wonderful student forums, and events are conducted throughout the year. The campus is a little bit small but can be managed.

Good facilities with a good campus crowd.
Placements: Around 60% of students are placed in my course. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Wipro is the top recruiting company in my course. About 20% of students got internships from TCS for my course. Penetration tester is one of the roles offered in the course.
Infrastructure: Facilities for students are very well maintained. Computer labs contain all resources that students need, including computers, and they also have secure connections. Classrooms are very spacious and separate for every department. Library has all the books related to respective departments. Hostel is also very well maintained and looked after. Food quality is excellent and hygienic, both in mess and canteen. Sports are encouraged, and college has courts for every sport. College has a medical room, which always has a lady doctor present.
Faculty: Teachers are highly educated and qualified. They are supportive and understanding of students, providing various resources for the subject. Course curriculum covers everything that a cyber student needs to be ready for the industry. Pass percentage for exams is 35%. Semester exams are not that difficult with the right amount of preparation.
Other: I chose cybersecurity because I was a computer enthusiast, and hacking fascinated me. I wanted to learn how it works. Ethical hacking and pen-testing are the best, in my view. College only has an annual fest, and other than that, there are small fests for festivals. Surroundings are very peaceful.

Our Faculty Are Very Good And Supportive.
Placements: The placements have been nice since last year. But due to the recession, the opportunities got reduced just like in every other reputed institute. But most of my seniors got placed decently with an average package of 7 to 8 LPA. Students who are interested in civil services or other government exams can utilise the libraries as our university library is the biggest in the state.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is good, you have to apply for admission to the hostel. There will be a form which is to be filled out when you come for the orientation programme. The campus life is good as the college is located in the centre of Hyderabad city. There are cultural and social clubs. The campus covers land of about 100 acres.
Faculty: The curriculum includes theoretical and practical classes. We have large numbers of equipment in our labs and the labs got renovated recently. The faculty have an average experience of 30 years in this field and they did their PhDs from highly reputed IITs. They interact with students. Every faculty member is allocated to a student as a mentor.

Good infrastructure and campus .
Placements: 40 percent of students were placed in our course. Many top companies come to recruit the students, like google, Wipro, amazon, Infosys etc. Students get opportunities to do internships. They conduct many hackathons, workshops to improve the students in their interest.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The college is filled with greenery. The library is my favorite place where you can sit peacefully and read. There's no Wi-Fi in the college for students the wi-fi is available in the labs for computers to learn from it. Classrooms are good. Hostel facilities are good though food quality need to be improved. Canteen is good we can get all types of varieties.
Faculty: The teachers are friendly in nature. They help us, clarify our doubts and they are qualified. The teaching quality need to be improved. This course makes students industry ready. The semester exams are easy if we study well. I think the pass percentage is 70.
Other: I chose this course because I'm interested in it. The best thing about my course is that it helps us to know what to do in life and how to be in our life. It would be better if they improve teaching methods. Major event in our college is Vibha where we can enjoy and have fun.
