Life of an average VIPS student .

Placements: In our department, most students go for the Masters program, and some get placements from the college. The package ranges from 4 LPA to 12 LPA. Most people get placed as analysts, depending on their skillset. The placement cell of the economics department works extremely hard in order to bring the best companies for recruitment drives at the college .

Infrastructure: It is indeed awesome. This is one of the best thing about VIPS. You feel comfortable in the facilities provided and the buildings, classrooms, libraries, etc. are very clean and well looked after. The ground is small, though. Rest assured, everything is up to par, and the campus is very beautiful, filled with plants and flowers.

Faculty: The teaching staff is great and extremely helpful, except for a few teachers. The examinations are held regularly without any delay and the syllabus is also covered well before the examinations. The curriculum doesn't match Delhi University. The examinations have a mid-difficulty level.

Great infrastructure but the teachers are not really good.

Placements: I have not graduated yet so only 3-4 students from my class have been placed which was mainly not due to their college degree. The highest package offered in this course is 8 Lacs per annum and the lowest package offered is 2 Lacs per annum. Top companies visiting include Google, Microsoft, and Godrej among others.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the Vivekananda Institute of professional studies is quite good. The labs, classrooms and libraries are all in a good conditions but exceptions are always there. Wi-Fi is not available for the students. Rest assured, it is a decent college.

Faculty: Vips has a decent faculty. The teachers are qualified for educating the students but most of the teachers teach for the sake of their salaries only. Course curriculum is relevant and the students, in my view, get the exposure required for the industries. Rest assured, it is a decent experience.

My opinion on VIPS college.

Placements: The worst thing about this college is placements. The students will not get placed at the end of the course, but initially, the faculty promised that they would get good placements. The placements you will get in the last will be very less. There is no student who got an internship at the time of graduation, and no top roles are offered at the end of this course.

Infrastructure: The only good thing about this course is the infrastructure. There are three buildings in this college which have more than 5 floors. Students can play indoor as well as outdoor games. There is also a small ground in which students can play cricket and football.

Faculty: The teachers will help you in Economics Honours, and the curriculum is good. The subjects are a little bit hard, and the exams are easy, but you have to study before the exam; only then will you pass the exams. Almost all the students pass in the end except one or two students.

Other: I choose this course Economics is a very interesting subject, and there is no need for improvement in this course. You can learn extra skills from the college so in terms of learning college is good.

Excellent faculty and education facilities .

Placements: There are so many students placed in the course. Some of the top recruiters are Deloitte, Vivo, Infosys, etc. The major roles offered in this course are of economists, data analyst, policy and decision makers etc. There are absolutely excellent placements for the eligible candidates, no doubt.

Infrastructure: The campus is very great of this college with greenery all around. There are fully air conditioned classrooms and library. The library is very big. There are different libraries for different courses as well and this is the best thing ever. There is free Wi-Fi available in the campus. The digital canteen is the best thing of this college. Sports and games areas are also available.

Faculty: The faculty members of this college are very excellent. There very knowledgeable and qualified upto the mark. All the teachers are very helpful and supportive. The course curriculum is extremely relevant and it absolutely make all of the students industry ready. The students can take up different internships as well which definitely help out achieve the same. The semester exams are not that much difficult. Moderate level has been set for most of the exams.

Other: I chose this course as I am always very interested in mathematics and Statistics type of subjects which this course provide me for studying. The college must increase the number of teachers available for the courses as they are somewhat few in numbers. The best thing about the college is its events and the activities. There are several societies for different courses. These societies keep on conducting so many events and extra curricular activities are also there. Fests are also conducted. The campus crowd is very good.

I am completely satisfied with our college.

Placements: Our college provides good placement offers. There are a total of 160 students in our batch. Out of 160, around 80 to 90 students were placed and the rest opted for post-graduation. The highest package offered was 5.5 LPA and the lowest package offered was 3.3 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very beautiful. Washrooms are way too hygienic. The college is fully air-conditioned. Almost everything is available in the college canteen, be it North Indian or South Indian, but the food tastes average. Our college even offers PG for the students who stay far from the college.

Faculty: The curriculum designed by our college is very meaningful. They teach you the relevant things and even guide you with extra knowledge for the future. Teachers here are very supportive and knowledgeable. Almost all teachers have completed their Ph.D.

Other: The reason behind choosing this course was my interest in it. The best thing about this course is its curriculum. The campus crowd here is amazing. There are a lot of societies in our college for students.
