Life at Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, where brilliant minds meet.
Placements: Generally, the majority of students are placed in the placement cell. The average package is around 6 LPA and the highest is 10 LPA. Several companies visit the campus for hiring. However, I haven't been able to apply for an interview yet, so I don't know the names of the companies visiting. Only students who get placed through the placement cell are given internships or training. No additional internships are available from the campus side. The companies offer roles based on student's eligibility.
Infrastructure: The department is well-maintained and cleaned regularly. It doesn't have smart classrooms, but all labs are well-equipped with machines and chemicals for practical. The library is a smart library equipped with the internet and has fewer books, but it contains information about all books. Hostels are also well. Three students can live in one room. The mess is available inside the hostel, which is convenient for students.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and trained to teach us with ease. The teaching quality of faculty members is brilliant. The course curriculum is relevant to the modern world's problems. Exams are not that difficult. One can crack them with basic knowledge of the theories.
Other: As I am interested in the machinery and how they internally work with chemicals, this makes me select this course. Some theories are based on old technology, which must be replaced with new technology. Fests and all other activities are conducted at least twice a month.

Placements: In our course, almost 80% of students get placed every year. The salary package is available every year ranging from 4 LPA - 10 LPA. The average salary package goes up to 6 LPA. Here are some of the top roles typically offered process engineer, chemical plant manager, production manager, research and development (R&D) engineer, environment engineer, quality control engineer, safety engineer, project engineer, materials engineer, and energy engineer These roles often require a combination of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of industry-specific regulations. Other: I chose this course because it offers practical skills and knowledge relevant to my career goals. The best things about the course are its industry-relevant curriculum, experienced instructors and hands-on learning opportunities. I am very satisfied with the course as it is. All facilities, resources, and support provided are excellent, and I feel everything is well-structured and effective. The college has an exuberant climate with successive occasions and fests that make a tomfoolery and drawing-in experience for understudies. The ground's warm is well-disposed and different, making it simple to associate with others. The network is super, with dependable transportation and current advanced assets. The ground's environmental factors are delightful, offering a quiet and moving climate. There are likewise extraordinary grants valuable open doors for qualified understudies, and a large number of extracurricular exercises that support self-awareness and innovativeness.

Helpful faculty members with industrial knowledge. Best infrastructures and labs.
Placements: From the previous batch 2023, 28 students got placed in various industries. The highest package offered was around 7 LPA from Reliance Industries. Most of the placed students got average package of 4 LPA. Adani Enterprises, Reliance Industries are the mass recruiting companies. Other than this, Line, Apara, L&T, Nayara and many more companies recruit students from VGEC. Most of the students get role of production engineer in companies. Placement percentages are increase every year with the hardwork of faculty members and Placement cell of VGEC.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms in the department are well furnished and contain multiple no. Of fans and ventilation facilities. All the laboratories are equipped with the latest apparatus used in industries and which are helpful for students with their studies. I live in VGEC Boys hostel. Hostel rooms are large enough for staying 3 students comfortably. Hotel premise gets cleaned daily by sweepers and hygiene is maintained in the hostel. Food quality of the mess is very good and they provided the food at very reasonable cost.
Faculty: All the faculty members in the department are well educated and most of them have completed their Ph.D. They are very helpful to students and their teaching style is student oriented. They make the studies easier for students and also provide curricular knowledge of industries other than studies.
Other: You can communicate with any faculty in the department at any time as they are ready to help you out at any time. Students can get the best knowledge of industries and make themselves ready for the world of industries by getting in touch with the knowledgeable facilities. Expert lectures are organized by the department every month for the students to get themselves ready for industries.

Best placement providing college.
Placements: I started my Engineering in year 2020 during covid time. Around 80 students got admission in batch 2020. During last year campus placement, the highest package offered was from Reliance Industries of around 7 LPA. Avarage package was around 3.5 LPA to most of the placed students. 28 students from batch 2019 got placed in various companies. Adani Enterprises, Reliance Industries were the top recruiting companies since last 3 years. Most of the students get job role of production engineer.
Infrastructure: In Chemical Department, All the classrooms are well furnished and contains multiple no. Of fans and ventilation facilities. Projectors are also acquired in all the classes. Labs are also very good and having most of the apparatus which are helpful in studies. Department purchase new and updated instruments occasionally. I live in hostel of VGEC. Hostel rooms are so good and are large enough for staying of 3 students with full comfort. Food available in canteen is of very good quality and hygienic and at reasonable price.
Faculty: All the professors in the department are well educated and 80% of them have completed their Ph.D. They teach to students according to their teaching experience and making the studies easier for students. They also provide curricular information of industries and the latest industrial knowledge to students. Semester exams are conducted by GTU at the end of each semester. These exams are not od very hard level but yes, the level of questions is improving semester by semester. In our department, almost 95% of students get pass in all the subjects.
Other: In our department, All the faculty members are very helpful and kind to students. They help you with your studies as well as they provide you guidance towards your future. Experts lectures are also organized by department for the students every month so that students can get in touch with the industrial knowledge and experts. Hence, It was my best decision to take admission in VGEC Chemical Engineering Department.

It is an excellent college for chemical engineers.
Placements: Our branch is quite good in terms of placements. Many companies come to hire students. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA to 4 LPA, which is quite good. Some students get high salary packages.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on every branch and every block. Classrooms are neat and clean. The library of our college is very big and has lots of books. The hostel is also pretty good. There are all of the essential amenities that we all seek. The quality of food in the mess is also good.
Faculty: All faculty members are very good and have perfect knowledge of their field. The teaching quality is impressive. The curriculum is very appropriate, and it makes students industry-ready. Exams are always hard when we aren't prepared. Exams are pretty good and relevant.
Other: There are many extracurricular activities and tech fests. Our college is under the GTU. It organises many activities.
