In my view, college is very good and old, so it is very famous.

Placements: I am studying chemical engineering in 2024, and I see that my senior batch of 4 years got 91% placement, with an average package of 6 LPA, and the highest package was about 18 LPA. Other branches like Computer Science, IT, and IC also have good placements, about 80-90% placement, and an average package of 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: The college facility is excellent, and in 2026, a new chemical department was constituted with new lab facilities. Wi-Fi is provided at good speed, and in the library, you can also study with Wi-Fi support. The campus is very big, and new buildings are construction while buildings are starting renovations.

Faculty: Faculty is very supportive and gives great advice on placements and industrial development. Semester exams are sometimes very easy, but it depends on your preparation. Exams will take time, and the viva gives you more idea about exam pattern.

Other: In our college, many clubs are present, so you can enjoy every sport. You can take part in any kind of competition, like music and many cultural activities, so you can also enjoy college.

I am in my 2nd year, and I have had a great experience so far. Faculty is extremely supportive.

Placements: In chemical engineering, there is a 90% placement ratio, with an average salary package of 6-6.5 LPA. The highest package offered in the term 2023-24 was 13.2 LPA, which is by far the highest package in this stream. There are packages as low as 2-2.5 LPA, which aren't general examples.

Infrastructure: Many hostel buildings on campus, most of which were built at the time of the starting era of college, 75 years ago. The hostel buildings conditions are not as good as we can assume the expected conditions after that much time. This is the reason for the 3/5 stars given in this category.

Faculty: The curriculum is set by many experts in the field, so there are no complaints about it. As for faculty and exams, faculty members are also masters in their field of expertise. They are very supportive in nature as well as friendly.

Other: I had an interest in this course from the start. When I was thinking about pursuing my career in engineering. The best thing I like about this course is that it isn't a sheep-walk like other trending streams such as CS and IT.

College is good for placements and studies.

Placements: The placement is good. In my stream, last year 95% of students got placed in many companies. Reputed companies like Reliance, Adani, Micron, Atul, etc., visit our campus. The average package is 5-6 LPA, and the highest package is 18 LPA. So, placement vise the college is the best.

Infrastructure: The hostel facility is good, but for diploma to degree students, limited seats are available. A 12th pass-out student can get admission to various hostels like Samrash, Diamond, etc., but they do not get admission to the diploma to degree hostels. It is the college responsibility to increase the seats for D2D students.

Faculty: The exam experience is good. GTU sets the paper like the previous one, meaning 60% of the questions are asked from previous papers. That is monotonous for us and not reading as much. I am an alumni of MSU Baroda, so I recommend to set paper like MSU, as it is better for students.

My college environment is amazing.

Placements: Cpi here is 8 and up. Average package is INR 7 Lacs per year. Most of the students get placed in my college. Big companies visit the college and offer high packages. Overall placement is 90 percent. College area is very clean and placement is high.

Infrastructure: Beautiful and very good labs and outside environment is good too. Wi-Fi is available in the college area. Over all good facilities. Sports, games are available. Sports ground is very huge in our college. Medical facility is very good. Hostel is average in our college.

Faculty: Teachers are very hard working. They played a major role in my placement. No exam is difficult and my CGPA is 8.90. I love my college and my teachers. Over all college experience is better.

Our college provides a good return on investment.

Placements: Almost 50% of students got placed in our college. Top recruiting companies are Adani Group, Reliance Group, L&T, DCM, etc. DCM is a fertilizer company. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: The new hostel of our college is very good and contains 2 lifts. Around two students can share each hostel room. Each hostel has a table and a chair for study purposes. Our college has a reading room. The food served in the mess is tasty. The hostel provides food at Rs. 55. The hostel tea is not good.

Faculty: Our teachers are not good compared to other college teachers. They just want to complete the course in the English language no matter students understand or not. Semester exams are not difficult. Communication subjects are good, and teachers of that subjects are good and friendly.

Other: I opted for this branch because it has a high scope compared to other branches.

LDCE offers the following Post diploma degree courses (PDDC) in the part-time mode as under: 1. Civil Engineering 2. Electrical Engineering 3. Electronics & Communication Engineering 4. Mechanical Engineering So from above BE Chemical, part-time course is not available at LDCE.

Hello, LD College of Engineering presently offers BE courses in multiple disciplines. Admission to BE courses is given on the basis of common entrance test (GUJCET). Candidates applying for BE seats should’ve passed at 10+2 level from a recognized board.
