Review of Vivekananda College Kolkata.

Placements: I am currently studying in this college. There is a good placement record and many alumni got admission in colleges like TERI University, BHU and many others. Many of them are also working on private firms. The final year personal skill development classes are very helpful.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is also very good and the main feature is the playground. There is also a very beautiful garden. All classrooms are very spacious and very much hygienic. There is a total of 3 buildings with specialised departments of BSc. There is also an air-conditioned auditorium hall and a big concert hall. There is free Wi-Fi on the campus and a canteen with a good food supply.

Faculty: My department faculty members are exceptionally good and very helpful. The faculty ratio is very good at 16:3. The teachers are very good and the way of teaching is also very modern with smart classes and a built-in lab. The teachers also take good care in extracurricular activities of students. The main attraction is how every teacher maintains a good personal relationship with every student.

Other: It is a very special college no political influence and no external pressure the classes are always punctual. You can always take admission in this college without any worry. The fee structure is also very affordable for a middle-class family. You can have fun as well.

Other: It was one of the best institutions that I had attended to kick start my graduation course. Though I am unaware of the present situations but the professors and HODs were friendly and helpful to each and every student who came for help regarding studies and other college related issues. The labs are one of the renowned labs as compared to the course fee. Scholarships were available for backward classes and meritorious, but financially lacking students. The playground and college canteen has a different level of nostalgia adding a sync of education with entertainment. Common rooms were accessible to everyone. Library was quite organised and sufficient.
