Women's Christian College Admission FAQs
Candidates for WCC's M.Sc. programs must have completed a bachelor's degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 50% overall. He or she must have passed the college's entrance exam in addition to meeting academic requirements.
Generally speaking, individuals in the general category need to have completed their bachelor's degree with at least 65-70% to be eligible for the WCC Master of Science program. General category candidates must score 60% or above on the WCC entrance exam in order to be considered for the M.Sc. program. There could be subjects with higher cut-offs.Before being admitted, shortlisted candidates must pass an entrance exam and then go through a round of personal interviews.
In addition to coursework, extracurricular involvement and interview performance are taken into account.
Candidates must take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA), in order to be admitted to WCC's B.Com program.
Drawing from past WCC and other college cut-offs for similar commerce programs, a score of 450 out of 800 on the CUET (or 56.25%) might be on the edge of or marginally below the anticipated cut-off for general category students.
The amount of applications, the number of seats available, the reservation policies, etc. will all influence the eventual cut-off. Obtaining more than 500 points (62.5%) would improve one's chances of being admitted.
During the admissions process, WCC may take into account, in addition to CUET scores, 12th board percentage, academic profile, and extracurricular activity performance.
The WCC BCom admissions are merit-based. The selection is based on a merit list released by the college on its official website. This merit list is based on the applicant's performance in Class 12. Interested candidates can submit their applications through the college's official website. These applications are scrutinised by the scrutiny committee of the college. Seats are provisonally allotted to the applicants who meet the eligibility criteria and have submitted the required documents along with the application form before the deadline.

These elements could include prerequisites for particular subjects, interviews, entrance exams, and extracurricular activities. To improve your chances of getting into WCC's B.Com program, my advice would be to aim for a high CUET score (700+ out of 800) and strive for a score above 80% on the 12th boards.
