Candidates who have qualified UCEED, NID, and NIFT entrance exams for B.Des and M.Des degree programs are eligible for the direct portfolio round.

What is WUD Aptitude Test?
The WUD Aptitude Test (WUDAT) is a university-level entrance exam conducted by the World University of Design to shortlist aspirants for admission to various UG and PG design courses offered by the institute.

The World University of Design conducts DAT (Design Aptitude Test), AAT (Art Aptitude Test) and GAT (General Aptitude Test) exams to shortlist aspirants for admission. Through these entrance exams, the World University of Design evaluates the aptitude of aspirants towards creative education. WUDAT is three hours long and is conducted as an offline exam.
Valid scores of NIFT entrance exam, NID entrance exam, and UCEED are considered in lieu of WUD Aptitude Test. CAT, CET, MAT, and XAT scores are accepted instead of GAT. Candidates seeking admission to architecture courses are informed that admission is offered based on NATA/ JEE Main scores.

The application form for WUD DAT 2026 is open. Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria may apply for admission.
To fill out the form, candidates must follow the steps given below.
Step 1: Fill WUDAT Application Form
Candidates can fill out the WUDAT application form either offline or on the official website of the World University of Design. To apply offline, the candidate needs to download the application form from the college website or can ask for it by email or can collect it from the campus. Those going for offline mode can fill out the application forms and send them via email or post to World University of Design, Plot No.1, Rajiv Gandhi Education City, NH 1, Haryana - 131029
Step 2: Pay the application fee
The application fee for WUDAT is INR 2,000/-, which can be paid by RTGS/NEFT bank transfer for online mode and by cash/cheque/ Demand Draft for offline mode.
Step 3: Download WUDAT Admit Card
Next, candidates will get their WUD Aptitude Test 2026 admit card through email.
Step 4: Appear for WUDAT
After receiving the application form, it will be processed for eligibility of the candidate. Eligible candidates will be informed about the date/time of the tests/interview. Candidates need to appear for their WUD Aptitude Test as per the details mentioned on their admit card.
Step 5: Check results
The students shall be shortlisted on the basis of their performance and the list of students qualifying the next stage would be announced online.
WUDAT Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for different programmes are given below:

Eligibility for Bachelor Programmes: Candidates who have completed their 10+2 level or equivalent exams like AISSCE/ IB/ ICSE/ State Board, etc. (in relevant stream) are eligible to apply for undergraduate degree programmes.

Eligibility for Master's Programmes: Candidates who have completed a 3/4-year full-time bachelors in Design/ Engineering/Architecture/ Fine Arts or equivalent, are eligible to apply. Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying exams and the results are expected to be declared by 31st October of the admission year can also apply.
Age Limit: The upper age limit for applying to bachelor programmes is restricted to 20 years, relaxable up to 3 years on providing genuine evidence of discontinuity in education profile. However, for Postgraduate programmes, there is no age limit.
WUDAT Admission Process
Candidates seeking admission to the World University of Design have to follow the process as under:
Step 1: After qualifying, WUDAT appear for an interview
Candidates who are shortlisted in WUDAT will appear in a personal interview conducted by a panel. The interview panel will ask questions related to the field of study selected by the student. Creative evidence (portfolio, drawings, photographs, crafts, etc.) in hard copy may also be showcased.
Step 2: Final Result
The final selection of the candidates would be based on their cumulative performance in WUDAT and campus interviews. Also based on the information provided by the candidate in the application form and their chosen specialization.
Step 3: Offer of Admission
Successful candidates will be made an offer of admission to join WUD. The offer will be sent via email. Details regarding payment of fees at the time of admission, allotment of Hostel and date, time and venue for commencement of the academic session will be included in the admission letter.
Note: Offer of admission will be valid only for the particular programme opted for by the candidate in the given academic session. However request for change of programme may be considered after the first semester, subject to the availability of seats. In acceptance of the offer of admission to WUD, the candidates will have to appear in person at the campus along with original documents for verification and pay the required fees.
Step 4: Counselling
After the students have submitted their admission form and application, they will be called for counselling on stipulated dates at the University campus. During the counselling, the selected candidates get a chance to select the programme.
Test Centres: The exam will be conducted in an online proctored mode, meaning candidates can attempt the exam from home. So, no test centres will be allocated.

WUDAT 2026 Syllabus
The syllabus of the WUD Aptitude Test aims to assess a candidate's general IQ level, logical reasoning, vocabulary, and lateral thinking. The test will also assess their design aptitude. Questions asked in the exam will be at the 10+2 level for the Undergraduate programme. For PG programmes, the level will be graduation.

WUDAT 2025 admit cards will be released by the institute four to five days before the exam. Candidates will receive their admit cards through email.
