Footwear Design and Development Institute All India Selection Test 2025 ( FDDI AIST )
As per the FDDI 2025 exam pattern, the question paper of FDDI AIST 2025 for the B.Des and BBA programs will include a total of 150 multiple-choice questions. These questions will be spread over four sections. The test duration will be 3 hours.

How to Fill FDDI AIST Application Form
Candidates can go through the steps they need to follow to successfully fill out and submit their application form for the FDDI AIST exam.
Step 1: Register for FDDI AIST
First of all, the aspirants will need to visit the official website of the Footwear Design and Development Institute and click on the "Apply Online” button. Thereafter, candidates will need to click on the “New User” link and provide all the details to create a registration ID.
Step 2: Fill FDDI AIST application form
After creating the registration ID, aspirants will need to select the course in which they are seeking admission. Further, candidates will need to provide their personal, educational, and contact details.
Step 3: Upload documents
Candidates will need to upload a scanned copy of their recent passport-size photograph as well as a signature.

Step 4: Pay the application fee
Candidates may have to pay FDDI AIST application fee in the online mode via debit/ credit card. The expected application fee of FDDI AIST is as mentioned below:

Step 5: Submit FDDI AIST application form

The Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) will release the admit cards for the FDDI AIST 2025 exam on May 1, 2025. Admit cards will be issued to all candidates who successfully complete the online application process.

How to make Corrections in FDDI AIST Application Form?
The window for editing FDDI Application 2025 forms was available from April 21, 2025, to April 22, 2025. To make corrections in the FDDI AIST application form, follow these steps.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Admissions Open’ link
Step 3: Proceed to the ‘Click here to Login to Edit your Application Details’ link
Step 4: Enter the application form number, email ID, and date of birth

FDDI AIST 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for FDDI AIST 2025 for the UG course are given below:
The candidates must have passed:

10+2, in any stream, from any recognized Board; or

any School or Board or University examination in India or in a foreign country recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to the 10+2 system; or
-
School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects; or
-
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved a three-year full-time Diploma after Class X offered by the Board of Technical Education of any state or Union territory.

A candidate is eligible to apply for FDDI's B.Des programmes if they have:
a) Passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognised board; or
b) Passed an examination recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to 10+2 (Indian or foreign board); or
c) Passed the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) with at least five subjects.
No, there is no age limit for candidates applying to the Master Degree programmes (M.Des. / MBA) at FDDI. Any one with a graduate degree can apply.
To be eligible for FDDI's Master Degree programmes, candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from an institute/university recognised by law in India.
For M.Des. in Footwear Design & Production, candidates without a design background may be required to undergo a bridge programme comprising 2–3 relevant subjects to help them understand essential design concepts.
For M.Des. in Fashion Design, any graduate from a recognised institution is eligible.

The Verbal Ability section will have two sub-groups-Comprehension and Grammar. In this section, a total of 10 questions will be asked from Comprehension and 30 questions will be asked from topics such as grammar, usage, etc.

The FDDI AIST 2025 exam will be held sometime around the 2nd week of May 2025.
Details like reporting time, exam commencement and conclusion, etc. will be mentioned on the admit card, along with exam-day guidelines.
