MAH CET B.Des Eligibility 2026
The Eligibility for MAH B.Design CET 2026 is:
- The Candidate should be an Indian National.
- The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination and obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate (aggregate 40% marks in case of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) and obtained a non-zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority; (
- Children of NRI/OCI/PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries and Foreign National Candidature Candidates: i) The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with at least 45 % marks in aggregate.
- Any other criterion declared by the appropriate authority from time to time.
- There is no age limit for admission and appearing for MAH-B. Design CET 2025.
Candidature Type: Maharashtra State Candidature - A Candidate can claim only one type of Maharashtra State Candidature Type, i.e., from Type A to E for MAH CET B.Des 2026.
Type-A (i) Candidates passing SSC and also HSC from a recognized institution in Maharashtra State; (ii) Candidates who are either Domicile of Maharashtra and/or is born in Maharashtra;
Type-B: A Candidate who does not fall in Type-A above, but who or whose Father or Mother is domiciled in the State of Maharashtra and possesses a Domicile Certificate.
Type-C: A Candidate who does not fall in either Type-A or Type-B but whose Father or Mother is an employee of the Government of India or a Government of India Undertaking and who has been posted and reported to duty in Maharashtra State before the last date for submission of Application Form for CAP.
Type-D: A Candidate who does not fall in any of the above Type-A, Type B and Type-C but whose Father or Mother is an employee or retired employee of the Government of Maharashtra or Government of Maharashtra Undertaking.
Type-E Candidates passing SSC and/or HSC Examination from a recognized institution located in a disputed Maharashtra-Karnataka Border Area and whose Mother tongue is Marathi.

The syllabus of MAH B.Des CET is designed to check the aptitude, analytical ability, creative thinking ability, visualization & hand skills. The MAH B.Des CET syllabus can be broadly categorized as:

- The MAH CET B.Des Question Paper for PART C Examination will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four options (answers) for each question.
- Each question will have four alternatives (answers) out of which only one alternative answer will be correct.
- The total duration for the PART C Examination is 90 Minutes in which the Candidate has to solve 60 questions.
- There is no Negative Marking in the MAH CET 2026 B.Des entrance examination.

MAH B.Design CET Admit Card 2026
The Admit card for MAH CET B.Des 2026 will be released on the official website. MAH will share the schedule, and candidates can download their MAH CET Admit card 2026 as per the schedule.
The MAH CET Admit Card will have information like Name, Reporting time, Centre Details, etc.
Admit card is expected to be out in the in the month of January to February. It is mandatory for them to bring the printout of the Admit Card & original valid Photo ID proof for identity verification on the day of the examination.
