Placements: Placements are something which is directly related to ROI. It's something for which every student waits since their admission in any institute or even before. Our batch received one of the best placements ever, and this time the highest salary package was offered to a student of our batch.
Infrastructure: There is a difference between quantity and quality. Though seats are very low in our institute, students are par in the quality. Infrastructure wise our institute is small, but when it comes to utilisation, our institute utilizes its resources very optimally.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are par in their respective subjects. They have got immense exposure to the corporate world which they share in the classroom. Faculty members are very helpful and guide each student equally. Courses that are taught are very much up to date.
Other: Apart from academics, XISS is known for conducting various cultural, sports, social events as well. Panache is the mega-fest of XISS which is celebrated like a carnival every year.

The college provides various great opportunities.
Placements: The college provides 100% placements for students of the marketing department. The highest salary package offered is 7.50 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.50 LPA. They offered various roles. The internship rate is almost 85%. The college has a separate placement cell. The highest stipend offered is Rs. 25,000 per month for students of the marketing department and the lowest stipend offered is Rs. 12,000 per month. Many companies like HDFC, Aditya Birla, TIL and many more have visited our college to offer internships.
Infrastructure: All the facilities like lab, classrooms, etc., are available. Wi-Fi facility is available on each floor of every department. Sports facilities are not provided. Only a basketball court is available in the college. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and air-conditioners. The quality of food offered is average. The college has infrastructure related to sports. The college organises a main fest named Panache every year. Many seminars are conducted for every department. The college organises rural visits and industrial visits. The course curriculum is the same for every year for every batch. Faculty members are well-trained and knowledgeable. Everything is good, and it has been enhancing as an institution.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality can be rated 8.5 out of 10. Our college organises industrial visits to Kolkata, Bangalore and Mumbai for every batch in the institute, and it is useful in many terms. Many subjects will co-relate with your day to day life and with the organisation. It can help you amazingly for getting jobs. The college conducts a class on soft skills development, and it is mandatory for every student to attend the class as it helps them in grooming themselves.

Overall, I would say that this is a great college because of the faculty and their teaching.
Placements: As per my analysis, the placements in the college are very good. Almost every student get placed in the campus placements with the good salary package of around 5 LPA. All the top-ranked companies like Tata Group, Britannia, Marico, Exide, Maruti, HCL, Reliance Jio and many more visit the campus to hire students.
Infrastructure: The college provides every facility to the students so that students feel like they are at home. The library in the college is very big, and it is well-equipped with books related to various fields and business magazines so that students can get the day to day happenings of the business world.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college play a vital role in the life of the students in building career. The faculty members give you a direction in shaping your career. They not only provide theoretical knowledge but also give you the practical knowledge about how the work is done in the market.

Good return on investment and a top management school under tier2 category.
Placements: Placement was good.
100 percent placement was only achieved in the marketing department. The highest CTC was from HRM I. e 13 Lacs. From Marketing the highest, CTC was 6.66 LPA in India. Most of the companies offered the job in Sales profile in Marketing department. Talking about the college marketing department faculty profile, the faculty profile is not very strong in Marketing department except two or three faculty members. Banks & Microfinance are the major recruiters so anyone who is not interested or is not looking to join banking/insurance sector should not take admission in the marketing department of Xavier Institute of Social Service. Major requiters were HDFC bank, ICICI bank, Shaija microfinance, etc. And the profile offered was relationship management. Marketing 1st-year first-year students have also to suffer for their summer internship companies. Stipend amount provided is too less and most of the companies for internship hired candidates for the sales profile( tele calling ) only.
Infrastructure: Since college was started with only two departments I. e Personnel management & Rural management 65 years ago. So the campus is not too huge but the infrastructure is well-equipped with all the modern technology and facilities. The classroom has a capacity to accommodate 60students at a time. A 450sq fit classroom has 2Air conditioners, mic and sound system for lecture delivering. One normal auditorium, a basketball court which is also our vehicle parking place. A multi-gym along with a trainer is also present at a cost of Rs700 whose fee is submitted at the time of trimester fee submission.
Faculty: Faculty profile is not so dynamic except One or two. People of HRM, IT, RM are engaged in Social field work during 1 year of their studies. Students are given live projects. To make students learn about the rural market the students are taken for a 3day camp in the remotest part of the Jharkhand. Every second-year students go for a 10 days industrial visit to the placed like Noida, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata.
Other: Each year XISS celebrates a management fest in February named as Panache. Various games and events are conducted during these 4 days of management fest. Each event winner is rewarded either with a cash money prize or the amazing gift.

The college is one of the best management colleges in Ranchi.
Placements: As per the records, the placements for the department of marketing of the batch 2015-2017 was 96% with an average of 5.5 Lacs per annum. The profiles were marketing research, sales, digital marketing, and management trainee. The highest placement package of the batch 2015-2017 was around 9.5 Lacs.
Infrastructure: The college is average in infrastructure. All the basic necessities like a canteen, water coolers and purifiers, A/C, projector, auditorium, bike parking are there. A basketball court for the students till 8 PM is open every day. The washrooms for both girls and boys are present.
Faculty: A total of 7 faculty members facilitates the department of marketing with real-life marketing situations. The curriculum is for 2 years. Year 1 consists of 3 trimesters followed by a rural campus visit and an internship.
Year 2 consists of 3 trimesters followed by an industrial visit at 5th trimester which is further followed by campus placements.
Other: Panache is the cultural and management fest of XISS.
It is celebrated in the month of February every year.

Yes, you are eligible as the college considers the XAT and CMAT scores as well, the latter gives you a better opportunity to fetch a decent score as the level of difficulty is often on the lower side as compared to the former and CAT.

Placements: Placements of our batch were pretty good. 70-80% are already placed and still, companies are coming for campus placements. Marketing has the highest placement percentage this time. Almost 95% students are placed. Telecom, FMCG, electronics, hospitals, banks, financing etc are few sectors

XISS is known for its two major courses RM & HRM. Finance is also good but not as expected. One can expect 100% placement there.

Yes, you have cleared the cut-off and prepare for GD/PI round. Marketing and finance average package goes around Rs 6.5-8 lakhs per annum.
