Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology BTech Admission 2025: How to Apply?
For admission to the ZHCET BTech programme students must follow the AMUEE exam's admission process. Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has the Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Examination (AMUEEE) to give admission to its BTech programme. Since ZHCET is affiliated with AMU, students must apply through AMUEEE. However, before applying for admission, students must have valid qualifications & basic knowledge of the BTech programme.
1: ZHCET BTech Application Process 2025
Students are required to visit amucontrollerexams.com to submit their applications. In this step, students are required to upload scanned Docs, photos, thumb impressions, & signatures. The final is to submit the programme-specific application fees.
2: Entrance Examination
ZHCET BTech aspirants must appear for the AMUEEE. It is an objective-type paper containing ques on Chemistry, Physics & Maths. As per the AMUEEE exam pattern 2025, the entrance exam will be held as a pen-and-paper-based test. During the 3-hr examination, the students will have to attempt 150 objective MCQs.
3: Counselling
Following the entrance examination, students must register for the AMUEEE counselling. The counselling is conducted in various rounds & seats are allotted based on the candidate's AMUEEE rank, preferences filled at the time of application, & seat availability. Shortlisted students must report physically at the university campus for Doc verification.
4: Doc Verification & Fee Payment
The final in the admission process is to visit the university campus for Doc verification. After the verification of original Docs, students must confirm their admission by submitting the ZHCET fees charged at admission.
