ZHCET BTech is a four-year full-time course offered across multiple specialisations including Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, etc. Further, the college also offers BE in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and, Mechanical Engineering. For admission to the ZHCET BTech course candidates must follow the AMUEE exam's admission process. Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) conducts the Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Examination (AMUEEE) to provide admissio to its BTech course. Since ZHCET is affiliated with AMU, candidates must apply through AMUEEE. However, before applying for admission, candidates must have valid qualifications and basic knowledge of the BTech course. The step-wise process for BTech admission at ZHCET is as follows:
Step 1: ZHCET BTech Application Process 2025
The ZHCET application process is conducted in an online mode. Candidates are required to visit amucontrollerexams.com to submit their applications. In this step, candidates are required to upload scanned documents, photos, thumb impressions, and signatures. The final step is to submit the course-specific application fee.
Step 2: Entrance Exam
ZHCET BTech aspirants must appear for the AMUEEE. It is an objective-type paper containing questions on Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. As per the AMUEEE exam pattern 2025, the entrance exam will be held as a pen-and-paper-based test. During the three-hour exam, the candidates will have to attempt 150 objective multiple-choice questions. A merit list will be prepared based on the scores obtained by the candidates in the entrance test. The shortlisted candidates are required to participate in the counselling process for seat allotment.
Step 3: Counselling
Following the entrance exam, candidates must register for the AMUEEE counselling. The counselling is conducted in various rounds and seats are allotted based on the candidate's AMUEEE rank, preferences filled at the time of application, and seat availability.
