AMU BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
In the field of Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) offers full-time BTech and BE courses leading to undergraduate degrees. Some of the available specialisations are BTech in CSE, AI & ML, Electrical Engineering, and BE in Civil Engineering, etc. The duration of these courses is four years, further divided into eight semesters. For BA (Hons) admission, candidates must have to attempt the Domain/ General/ Languages sections of CUET while appearing for the entrance test along with the minimum eligibility criteria set by AMU. AMU BTech admission process 2025 is based on entrance marks. Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Examination (AMUEEE) admit students to BTech courses. The step-wise process for BTech admission at AMU is as follows:
- Application Process - The entire application process for AMU admissions is online. Go to amucontrollerexams.com for online application filling. You are required to upload scanned documents, photos, thumb impressions and signatures. The final step is to submit the application fee.

Entrance Exam - AMUEEE is an objective-type exam. It includes Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. Merit list is prepared on the basis of this exam. Shortlisted students will participate in the counselling process for seat allotment.

Counselling - Students have to register for AMUEEE counselling. The counselling takes place in various rounds. Seats are allotted based on the candidate's AMUEEE rank, preferences filled at the time of application, and seat availability. Shortlisted candidates have to present a list of documents for verification purposes at the time of admission to the courses offered at AMU. Candidates must carry the following original documents at the time of physical reporting:
