ABES Engineering College Campus

The campus of the ABES Engineering College is spread over 17 acres and is equipped with all the modern facilities.

ABES Engineering College, situated in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, is one of the premier institutes of the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. Recently, ABES got top ranking in the first year BTech course among the colleges of AKTU, which is a milestone to achieve. The college has a good reputation for offering ample opportunities to be placed in reputed companies. More than 2,200 jobs were offered to the students of batch 2021-22 and a few of them were placed in big companies like Amazon, Walmart, etc.

ABES Engineering College offers four courses in various streams that are being pursued by 5,000 students across the college. The college has a legacy of more than 20 years and has a strong alumni base of around 12,000. 

Campus Area in ABES Engineering College    

The infrastructure of the college is a perfect blend of modern facilities and a lush green environment. The campus of the college is spread over 17 acres. It is full of state-of-the-art facilities with a soothing study environment. The campus has separate hostels for boys and girls, ultra-wide football and cricket stadiums with floodlights, a super spacious central library, mesmerizing swimming pool, gymkhana, two academic buildings, a temple with peace inside the premises, one kiosk, a sports complex, a variety of labs like science and computer labs, three cafeterias, one workshop building, ultra-spacious auditorium, transportations facility, 24/7 Wi-Fi, super-advanced classrooms and an ATM facility. The campus of ABES Engineering college is so lively and jubilant that the students are always motivated towards their goals with peace within.

Academic Buildings of ABES Engineering College 

The academic buildings of any college are the most important feature, and ABES has the best of these. the college has six academic buildings and each of them has a name.  The names are Kalpana Chawla block, Ramanujam block, Bhabha block, Aryabhatta block, Vishwakarma block and a building of ABES business school which is also known as the management building. 

The Kalpana Chawla block is dedicated to the department of applied humanities, where the classes of the first year are conducted. The placement cell of the college also called CCPD is also available in this building. Some labs are also located in this block.

The Ramanujam block holds the Departments of Civil Engineering, Electronics and Mechanical Engineering. The basement of the building accommodates many labs. 

The Vishwakarma block is mainly for workshops, whether it be for mechanical engineering, civil engineering or computer science engineering.

The Bhabha block is the main admin block where potential first-year students get their first exposure to the college. All the seminar halls and counselling centres are available in this block. The cabins of college dignitaries are also present in this building. 

The Aryabhata block is fully dedicated to IT students. The majority of the computer labs and the classes are run here. The Department of Computer Engineering, Department of IT and Department of CSE are situated in this block. 

The management block, as the name suggests, is totally for management students like MBA. The college auditorium is housed in this block.

ABES Engineering College Library

The central library of the ABES Engineering College is well equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The library has a great and relevant collection of books, journals and e-books. Currently, the college library has approximately 80,000 books, 3,800 titles, 363 e-books, about 16,000 e-journals and 195 national journals. The college also comprises an e-library, where students can go through the video lectures and the CDs of the elite institutes of India like IITs. The library is fully Wi-Fi enabled.

Along with this, every department has its departmental library as well.

ABES Engineering College Labs 

Without practical knowledge, you cannot do any engineering course. There are a variety of labs available in the ABES Engineering College to support and enhance students' practical knowledge.  It includes Chemistry Lab, Physics Lab, CAD Lab, Machine Design Lab, Automobile lab, Power plant Lab, Computer Lab, Thermodynamics lab, Building Materials Lab, Electronics Lab, Electrical Lab, Software Engineering Lab, Engineering Geology Lab and Graphics Lab. 

ABES Engineering College Hostels 

The college has separate hostels for boys and girls inside the campus. The hostel has everything inside it that student accommodation should have. It is fully Wi-Fi enabled, and decent quality rooms come with three options: air conditioning rooms, rooms with a water cooler facility and rooms with just ceiling fans. A proper security system in place ensures the safety of the students in the hostel and the quality of the food in the mess is also good.

The total intake capacity of the boys' hostel is about 1,500 students, whereas for the girls it is limited to 600. 

Sports Complex

ABES has the best quality cricket stadium across the NCR colleges. The stadium is equipped with modern facilities like floodlights, which enables the college to organise day-night tournaments. Other sports facilities are Badminton Court, Basketball Court, Tennis Court, Volleyball Court, and Swimming Pool.

The college has some amazing facilities and without including them, one cannot fold down the campus area of ABES Engineering College. The facilities are the super spacious auditorium with all the modern facilities, a gym to motivate the students to stay fit, an ATM, three cafeterias to provide good quality snacks, one kiosk of fruit juice and smart classrooms.
