The admissions in our university for entrance into engineering courses are through AP EAMCET, TCET and ECET. AP EAMCET and TCET are state-level engineering entrance tests of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana respectively. Those tests are for admissions into engineering first year for the students who completed their intermediate whereas ECET is for admission into the second year and for the students who completed their diploma in the respective branch they are seeking admission for.

Every year admissions in our college start in the first or second week of July but this year due to the COVID-19 effect, the entrance examinations have been postponed and so the counselling sessions will be postponed.

A person seeking admission have to qualify the entrance examination with a rank less than or equal to the cut-off rank for the department you are seeking admission into. Then based on your preferences add the courses and college name you want to study in the portal priority-wise. In a couple of weeks, you will be notified with a message stating in which department and in which college you got your admission.

Here, the admission process is offline. Once you get the message that you got admission in Sri Padmavati Mahila Visva Vidyalayam, collect and arrange all the certificates required and attend the counselling session on the informed date.

A few days ago, the committee announced that the last date of registration for AP EAMCET as extended to 17 April 2020. However, this date may be subjected to change based on the decision of our prime minister on lockdown extension in India. Hence, the admission process this year may be delayed. It may be in the month-end of July.

The government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to conduct AP EAMCET post to JEE Main that is maybe in the second or third week of May. Also it is planning to extend the last date of registration for AP EAMCET since as of now the applications for AP EAMCET are 60,000 less when compared to applications of last year.

The students who intend to take admissions in our college should once go through the college’s website. The university updates all the information regarding admissions, courses, counselling dates etc., on this website itself. You should heck the website frequently for new updates.
