I was interested in computers and technology since childhood. Due to my passion for computers, my brother suggested and guided me to take Science as my stream. So, I chose Science as my stream in 11-12th class. For my undergraduate degree, I took admission in Chitkara University to pursue Computer Science and Engineering. I am in the second year and want to be a good software engineer in future.

I think getting admission at Chitkara University is easy as compared to other universities. The student should have a valid JEE Main score and a minimum aggregate of 55% in 12th board (or 70% marks in PCM) for securing a seat. If the student fulfils the eligibility criteria he/she can apply for the admission by filling the form. The counselling sessions are conducted and then students are selected by the college.

The college conducts 3 internal exams (the score of best 2 are considered for CGPA) and finally, the external exam is conducted. The internal exam is of 40 marks and external is of 60 marks. The CGPA also depends on the subject credit and lab performance.

The campus is clean and eco-friendly. The campus environment is nice. The seniors and peers are friendly. Various social activities, games and extracurricular activities are organised by different groups in the college. There is no discrimination between gender in college.

A lot of events are organised every year like a DJ night. Every festival such as Diwali, Holi is celebrated. 'Rangrezz' is the most famous theatre program organized by the college in which a lot of colleges participate. It is held for 2 days. Apart from these, social activities like plantation, NSS are also conducted.

Chitkara University has good placements. The infrastructure is also very good with a nice crowd.
