Due to this lockdown, we all are in a situation where the students are facing issues for which they are not responsible. Also, the board exams have been postponed, coaching classes are shut, and the entrance exams are delayed till any further notice, particularly for the colleges where the admission would have been in the process if things were normal.

All colleges have extended their dates for the entrance tests which were supposed to be held in the month of April earlier. The new dates haven’t been announced yet, however, they have extended their registration processes.

For KIIT, the online tests which were supposed to take place between April 15 – 30, 2020 have been postponed. The slot booking dates have also not been disclosed yet and also, the registration dates have been postponed. I would suggest you to register yourself for the test, as KIIT is one of the best leading universities in the country.

Also, KIIT does not charge any fee for the engineering entrance test and the complete process is online from registration to slot booking.

As far as the admission process of KIIT is concerned, no changes have been made in the admission process and counselling, which means that the aspirants will still have to appear for the online test followed by the counselling session if they make it to the list. The students would get a notification regarding the admission after May 10, as the institutions are directed to remain shut till June 17 as per the guidelines from the Odisha government.

For any kind of new updates, the information regarding the changes is published on the KIIT admission website which is kiitee.ac.in. So, I would advise you to check the website regularly, so that you may not miss any important update. You will get the information regarding fee, eligibility criteria, test centres, etc. on the same site.

The question paper pattern and some demo questions are also published on the website for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, which you could follow for your preparation.

I am also getting to know that some relief would be given to the students who are currently pursuing any academic programme in KIIT, as they might get a little rebate in their fee, but no official notice has been issued regarding the same. So, do not get panic and take this extended time as a bonus for your preparations.
