ABES Engineering College is a college founded on values which have been followed for over 20 years, and it has an impressive graduate student base of over 15,000 graduates. All the courses that the college offers are NBA licensed and NAAC ensured. The college has an assortment of courses across UG and PG levels in its portfolio. The college has had a great record of providing placement opportunities to the students over the years. The students have enlisted more than 2500 job offers for employment in the ongoing placement sessions. The highest offer bagged this year is INR 44 LPA and the average offer is INR 5 LPA. The top recruiting organisations visiting the ABES Engineering College are Amazon, Walmart, Hashdin and others. The college has state-of-the-art facilities for its students like a super present-day sports intricate, a centralised library, exceptional labs, a pool and an open theatre.
Workshops and Projects
ABES organises various workshops, projects, seminars and guest lectures for the holistic development of the students. All departments of BTech are free to organise or host any workshop in the college. These workshops and guest lectures depend on various streams and courses. Workshops always help students to get ready for different technologies, business etiquette, latest trends, specific technical topics or behavioural skills etc. Projects are the practical outcome of the learning from the workshops.
Workshops
Workshops are subject to the conduction as per the curriculum of different branches. All the workshops are segregated as per the branches and this year's workshops are mentioned below:
1. Computer Science
A. Workshops on Time Management: The workshop was conducted on Jan 4, 2022, by Dr Gopal Krishna Sharma, Sr. Asst. Professor with the collaboration of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar. The objective of the workshop was to create awareness about time utilisation among students.
Placement of MBA at ABES Engineering College are decent. According to statistics provided by the college, out of 89 students 75 students got placed i.e. 84% students got placed in 2022 whereas placement rate in 2021 was 70%. In 2022, total 103 offers are given by 80 companies who visited college for on campus placements. Average salary offered to the student is 4.2 LPA and the highest package is of 10 LPA. 21 students got super offers (offers having CTC>5LPA).
Top recruiters were BYJU's, uneecops, Hso, TCS, Berger, etc.
ABES engineering college is known for it's placements specially in engineering and management courses. The highest package offered during placement 2023 in ABES was INR 50LPA .A total of 1984 offers were made and 1,182 students were placed during ABES Engineering College placements 2023.
Approximately 355 companies visited the campus and 93% of placements rate was recorded during placement 2023.A total of 97siper dream offers above 10 Lacs and 204 offers between INR 7.0LPA and INR 9.99 LPA were received during placement 2023 .And top recruiters of ABES Engineering College in 2023 were Amazon, Flipkart, Cisco, Ground Truth, synopsys, Adobe and Celestica
B. Workshops on Research Methodology: The workshop was conducted on Jan 9, 2022, by Dr Pinaki Chakraborty, Asst. Professor with the collaboration of the Netaji Subhas University of Technology, Delhi. The objective of the workshop was to create a mindset about the research methodology among students.
C. Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights on Patents: The workshop was conducted on March 9, 2022, by Dr Amit K Agarwal, Asst. Professor and Mr Pareshkumar Dave, Founder, IP Moment. The objective of the workshop was to create a mindset about the patents among students.
D. Workshop on Career Options @ CISCO: The workshop was conducted on June 27, 2021, by Mr Krishanveer Singh, Asst Professor with the collaboration of Cisco INC, Bengaluru. The objective of the workshop was to make students aware of the work culture of Cisco.
ABES Engineering College known for it's placements specially in engineering and management course, computer Science and information technology is a the highest package branch .college offers many engineering courses like computer Science and information technology, mechanical engineering, electrical and electronics engineering and electronics and communication engineering.so far the highest package offered during placement 2023 was INR 50 LPA, A total of 1984 offers were made and 1182 students were placed during ABES Engineering College placements 2023.
Further a total of 355 companies were visited and 93% placement rate was recorded during placement 2023 a total of 97 super dreams offers above 10 lacs and 204 offers between INR 7LPA to 9.99LPA were received during placement and average package always goes more than 6 LPA .
2. Information Technology
A. Workshop on Sharding in MongoDB: The workshop was conducted to provide the basics of MongoDB. The workshop is conducted by Dr Nileshkumar R Patel. It was done in collaboration with Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology.
B. Workshop on Next Generation Model of Software Engineering: The workshop was conducted to make students aware of the upcoming technologies by Mr Rinkoo Kushwah. It was done in collaboration with VMware Software India Pvt Ltd, Bengaluru.
3. Electronics and Communication Engineering
A. Six-day workshop on Design and Simulation of Semiconductor Devices
B. One-Week Workshop on FPGA Design and Implementation on Xilinx tools
C. Workshop on Analog IC Design using CADENCE EDA tools
4. Electrical & Electronics Engineering

B. Workshop on Industrial Automation (PLC)
C. Workshop on Logic Development & Programming in C
5. Mechanical Engineering

ABES Engineering is one of the best in terms of placement as the college provides very good placement. The college do provide us with stipend internship to some students. The highest package offered was of 61 LPA. Three average package offered was of 4.2 LPA. Majority got placed in wipro with an average package of 3 LPA. Top recruiters were - Amazon, Wipro, Cisco, Synopys, TCS etc. And past recuiters include Flipkart, OLA, Swiggy and other great startups . Overall if your main focus are placements then definately go for it . NCR location will give you enough exposure.
