As per IMUCET eligibility criteria, the age limit for students applying for B.Tech, B.Sc, B.B.A and DNS courses is below - 

• Minimum age: 17 years

• Maximum age: 

• For Male: General - 25 years, OBC (NCL)-28 years, SC/ST-30 years

• For Female: General - 27 years, OBC (NCL)-30 years, SC/ST-32 years.

No age limit for students from M.tech, M.B.A. and M.Sc program

For PG graduate Diploma course in Marine Engineering -

Maximum age : Male : For General-28 years OBC (NCL)-31 years SC/ST-33 years.

Female : For General-30 years OBC (NCL)-33 years SC/ST-35 years

The TS EAMCET 2026 admit cards has been released for both engineering and agriculture/pharmacy streams. Candidates can download the hall ticket from the TS EAMCET portal.

Yes, student with a cutoff rank of 3000 in JEE Main can get admission to IIIT Hyderabad, if belonging to the General All India category. The course available at thi rank for the General All India category is BTech in ECE. The last-round closing rank for admission to BTech in ECE was 4350 for the General All India category. 

Among the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff rank for admission to BTech in ECE was 4398. Therefore, admission at rank 3000 is possible for OBC AI category as well.

The BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus is not the same across all colleges, as every college committee sets a particular coursework pattern at the start of every academic year to be followed for the respective batch. The syllabus includes some core subjects, interesting electives, and lab work that gives detailed knowledge to the students about the workings of the field.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 6477 and closing rank was 6477. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 6407 and 6407. Admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at CMR College of Engineering and Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam TSEAMCET.
