VBSPU BTech aspirants are required to qualify JEE Main. Other than this, students are also required to fulfil the eligibility conditions. Once the exam is over, the university conducts a counselling process. The counselling is held at university level.

For the selection of candidates for vacant seats, the college also accepts admission through CSAB Counselling.

RGIPT does provide merit-cum-means scholarships to the BTech programme students. RGIPT BTech scholarships also include several endowment scholarships. Students who are pursuing the BTech programme can avail various scholarships offered by the University, Central and State Governments. Some of the scholarships which can be availed by students are National Fellowship and scholarship for higher education of ST students, Post matric (Other than Intermediate) scholarship for ST, SC, General category students, Post matric (Other Than Intermediate) scholarship for Minorities, etc.

No, candidates can not get admission in Jaypee Noida without JEE. The selection criteria for full-time course is through JEE Main score at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology. Candidates must have minimum of 60% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate in Class 12 or its equivalent examination. Aspirants with gap year (if any) between their Class 12 will be required to submit Gap Period Affidavit  (available at university website). 

Galgotias University BTech courses are offered in lateral entry in academic year 2026. Some lateral entry BTech courses are also offered in part-time mode for working professionals. Candidates must pass a DVoc course or BSc course with a minimum duration of three years.

Minimum aggregate and specialisation of these courses is based on chosen BTech course.
