For admission to the IIT Kanpur BTech programme, qualifying JEE Main is mandatory to become eligible for JEE Advanced. Only candidates who clear JEE Advanced can be considered for BTech admission at IIT Kanpur through JoSAA counselling.

No, candidates can not get admission in Jaypee Noida without JEE. The selection criteria for full-time course is through JEE Main score at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology. Candidates must have minimum of 60% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate in Class 12 or its equivalent examination. Aspirants with gap year (if any) between their Class 12 will be required to submit Gap Period Affidavit  (available at university website). 

Galgotias University BTech courses are offered in lateral entry in academic year 2026. Some lateral entry BTech courses are also offered in part-time mode for working professionals. Candidates must pass a DVoc course or BSc course with a minimum duration of three years.

Minimum aggregate and specialisation of these courses is based on chosen BTech course.

Candidates must pass Intermediate examination of UP Board or Class 12 level examination from any recognised board/ university with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate) in total of required subject combination (2 compulsory and 1 optional subject) to apply for BTech programme at NIET Greater Noida.
