B.Tech Mechanical Engineering Colleges in Rourkela

NIT Rourkela offers BTech courses in 14 specialisations. Admission to all these courses are done through a common admission process. Candidates are selected via JEE Main scores. The BTech specialisations offered at NIT Rourkela are as follows:

SOA University considers JEE Main score for admission in BTech course. Candidates can also appear for SAAT conducted by deemed-to-be university for admission. Selected candidates have to participate in counselling process.

Aspirants need to appear for JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced and secure a valid All India Rank (AIR). Based on students' AIR, the conducting body calls students for JoSAA counselling and carries out the allotment process. There is no other provision for admission to the BTech course. The application process of JEE Main is given below:

Step 3- Uploading scanned images of photo and signature
Step 4- Payment of application fees

The total seats offered for B.E. / B.Tech at GIET University and C. V. Raman Global University are 1374 and 1290, respectively. While GIET University offers this course in 18 specialisations, C. V. Raman Global University offers the same in 27 specialisations. Hence, there are higher chances of getting a seat at GIET University due to higher seats.

In Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, the B.Tech programmee include courses such as Computer Science and engineering, Electrical engineering, Electrical and Electronics engineering, Mechanical engineering, Civil Engineering, Information technology, Metallurgical and Materials engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication engineering, Chemical engineering, production engineering. For these all courses, the total tuition fees is INR 1,52,000 - INR 1,82,560 rupees only. 

The university reserved a total number of seats for BTech students, i.e., 1,254. Majority of seats are reserved for BTech in Lateral Entry, i.e., 234. As per data available, the BTech seats are reserved for ten specialisations. 

Seats available for the B.Tech program at Gandhi Engineering College are seats available for B.Tech. in civil engineering are 60. Seats for a B.Tech. in computer Science and engineering are about 180. B.Tech. in data science: 120 seats are available. B.Tech. on mechanical engineering 60s seats are available.
