Government Polytechnic College, Leh has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

UG Diploma	Candidate must have passed Secondary School Examination (Matriculation/ 10th or equivalent examination) from a recognised statutory Board and must have obtained at least 40% marks in 10th class in case of being an open merit candidate and at least 37% marks in case of being a reserved category and have passed Science and Math subjects in 10th class examination. Candidate must have passed Secondary School Examination (Matriculation or equivalent examination) from a recognised statutory Board. Candidates appearing/appeared in 10th class examination up to the last date of submission of online applications can also apply. Candidate must be a resident of either UT of Jammu & Kashmir or UT of Ladakh. There is no upper age limit.

IIT Jammu provides various programmes and specialisations to students. These courses are available in different streams. For obtaining IIT Jammu admission, candidates are selected on the basis of entrance tests. Accepted exams include JEE Main,  JEE Advanced,  JKBOSE, GATE, IIT JAM, GPAT, CSIR NET, etc.

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. During the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank for CSE was 25886 for the General category students under the AII India Quota. Among OBC candidates, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 8750. Candidates can check the JEE Main 2026 exam date allotted to them on their city intimation slip and JEE Main admit card. Candidates have to download the city intimation slip and admit card from the official website as per the schedule

This Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University college can said to be costly or have a high fee as it provides high standards or students to get a quality education here. It has all Phd faculties and now if we look at the fee structure below :-

MA - Rs. 81,000 ( 1st year fees )

M.Tech - Rs. 1.03 Lacs ( 1st year fees )

P.hd - Rs. 92,750 ( 1st year fees ) 

The Emeritus Fellowship, the Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Postdoctoral Fellowship of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Post-Doctoral Fellowship for Women, the Post-Doctoral Fellowship for SC/ST applicants, and other scholarships and fellowships are among those that the Central University of Jammu awards to students.

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship for Unmarried Girl Child Research in Social Science, Rajiv Gandhi Fellowship for individuals with disabilities, Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship for candidates from SC/ST National Fellowship for OBC applicants, Maulana Azad National Fellowship for Minority Students Post-Graduation Scholarship for Professional Courses for SC/ST Candidates, Indira Gandhi PG Scholarship for a single girl child, and PG Scholarship for University rank holders Ishan Uday, Ms. Agatha Harrison Memorial Fellowship, and the Special Scholarship Program for the North Easters Region.

But there's no mention of a scholarship worth 100% that's exclusive to Central University.

Candidates must fill out the form for scholarship at Model Institute of Engineering and Technology. Aspirants have to submit all the important scholarship-related documents to complete the application process. Upon successful admission and document verification, MIET provides scholarship amount to eligible students through cheque.

As per information available, Institute offers (aprx) INR 700,000 median salary to their students for M.E./M.Tech course during placements.
