UG Diploma	Candidate must have passed Secondary School Examination (Matriculation/ 10th or equivalent examination) from a recognised statutory Board and must have obtained at least 40% marks in 10th class in case of being an open merit candidate and at least 37% marks in case of being a reserved category and have passed Science and Math subjects in 10th class examination. Candidate must have passed Secondary School Examination (Matriculation or equivalent examination) from a recognised statutory Board. Candidates appearing/appeared in 10th class examination up to the last date of submission of online applications can also apply. Candidate must be a resident of either UT of Jammu & Kashmir or UT of Ladakh. There is no upper age limit.

This Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University college can said to be costly or have a high fee as it provides high standards or students to get a quality education here. It has all Phd faculties and now if we look at the fee structure below :-

MA - Rs. 81,000 ( 1st year fees )

M.Tech - Rs. 1.03 Lacs ( 1st year fees )

P.hd - Rs. 92,750 ( 1st year fees )

But there's no mention of a scholarship worth 100% that's exclusive to Central University.
