No, admission to the M.Tech courses is only through GATE in NITs. There is no other provision for admission. Furthermore, after GATE, it is also crucial that the candidates with scores equal to or more than the cutoff take part in CCMT counselling. OR Candidate who have completed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level can also apply. 45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category.
After 10th Diploma	Candidate passed 10th class/equivalent conducted by BSE, Odisha/equivalent are eligible to apply. The lower age limit is 14 years and there is no upper age limit.
